I once saw "The Rock" working out. Not bench press but I hopped on the cable fly machine right after he got off to see how much stronger the dude is.At the time I was benching 225x8, and got off 4 good reps on the fly machine. He was doing 12 reps.Based on this completely anecdotal encounter 450 for reps is way high. (He of course may have been having a light day, been on an off cycle etc.). Maybe 450 for one rep. My 1RM was ~270 at that time. The thing about the The Rock is that he's not a powerlifter, nor does he have big joints. He's almost elegant with long limbs and (comparatively) small bones. He's the kind of dude that gets his power from leverage rather than brute force - picking up someone by using large muscles, sequencing then accelerating the power rather than just jerking the guy up . And these days he's largely bodybuilding (i.e. trains to look stronger vs. lift to be stronger). This type of training is done with full range of motion, more reps and lighter weights than strength training.The Rock: claimed 450lb benchArnold, the famous bodybuilder is under 6 foot, and at his peak was far thicker than the Rock, but still only claimed a 500lb bench. His friend of the time, Franco Columbo was only 5"5 and could lift more than Arnold. The way muscle attach means that even a few inches difference in wingspan requires the muscle needs to generate much more force to move the same weight. Here are the facts: Frank Gore average over the last 6 years- 1,090 rush 330 rec 8.2 total TD Chris Johnson average over the last 5 years- 1,212 rush 285 rec 8 total TD Guess what I left off this list. I averaged Chris Johnsons career without his best season! The 2006 rush 500 rec 16 total TD!!! Chris Johnson's average includes his rookie year as well whne he was a 50/50 back with LenDale White. In fairness this is missing Gore's best seaon ever, but that was 7 years ago before Johnson even joined the elague. People are way too hard on a guy that has never once fallen below 1000 mark and has had 10 total TD 3/5 years he has played in the NFL. The guy is consistent and has proved it year in and year out. Sure the last 2 years were not his best, but Gore has slipped as well. I like Gore, but I agree he will lose carries and catches to both the guys you mentioned. His biggest reduction in the last 2 years has been the amount of passes going his way. Even more he will lose carries to Colin who will be the guy breaking the 100 mark in half the games. I like Chris Johnson this year and thinks he bounce back by getting a few more TD this year with good rushing and rec. Good luck.

Is Lendale White better than Reggie Bush?
I know there is a lot of Bush hatred but I thought most of that was directed at W. Reggie is not related to W, no relation what so ever. I know they look like brothers or cousins but there is no relation. Lendale is an overweight, lazy back that is playing for a great coach who is getting every ounce of production from him. Reggie may have been over hyped coming out of USC but is clearly better than Lendale.
How successful was Chris Claiborne in the NFL?
Well I found a copy of Maden 04 at the gamestop so I bought it. I was looking through the rosters and say a guy named Chris Claiborne who was a linebacker for the Vikings. I remember a while ago when I wasn't into football my dad would say that Chris Claiborne was the greatest player ever when he was at USC. So yeh all I know is that he was the ninth overall pick in the 1999 draft and that he was drafted by the Lions. How successful was he? Was he a flop? and if he was a flop was he like Courtney Brown and didn't live up to expectations or like Ryan Leaf who just plain sucked?
