Regrets Need To Be Settled.

Do any of you regret settling down too young?

I moved in with my boyfriend from NYC to another state (40 mins away from home, it wasn't that far but VERY suburban) at 23 but it felt like a marriage. All was perfect, he is a perfect man, but I started feeling like a had taken too much of a responsibility. I was suddenly "expected" to clean, cook, organize, work full-time and finish my master's at the same time. He wouldn't do much of house chores and I started resenting him because he wouldn't support my studies and my adventurous spirit as he hates traveling or doing something different from his routine. I moved out two years after and broke up with him to start experiencing life as an individual because I think I missed that part in my life. We're back together but we each have our own apartments. Enjoy it while it lasts, take risks, travel, think solo, because when you love someone you compromise and do things that you think are the right choice at the moment, so always follow your instinct and don't change for anyone, be with someone who appreciates you for what you truly are and think about your own happiness as long as it's not hurting someone else.

Have you ever regretted not settling down with someone you liked a lot just because of work or study?

I actively practice not regretting.Second, I haven't ever "settled down," and not because of  work or study.  The only person who ever put any serious effort into persuading me that I should settle down (great-aunt by marriage) died before I got around to it, and once she was dead, I didn't get any more reminders.

Im 19 and i want to settle down?

Do Indians settled in US ever regret leaving behind their parents and country?

My parents moved to the US along with me when I was about a year old.My mom couldn't attend her father's funeral and my dad couldn't see his father's bodyMy parents weren't able to inculcate the beauty of Indian tradition in me for a long time, this includes not being able to learn the mother tongue for a long timeMy parents weren't able to take care of their parents when they were sick. I guess this was the worstSince foreign countries demand a higher cost of living, other nationals are forced to work harder and earn better to live a decent lifeYou will miss home. Period. However there are good things tooMore money. Lots of savings.Experiencing the incredible diversity. We call India a secular nation but to go to foreign countries and meet people and cultures never even heard of is true diversityExposure to a more vast world teaches you lessons you can't learn in India. You become very independent and self sufficient. You learn how to fend for yourself in a country that you've never called your own. And at one point, you will call it your own because you realize it's one big world and you've become a global citizen.Everything you do has its pros and cons. Try to balance whatever you've got. You may regret a few things but you'll learn things that'll make up for them.Good luck

Can you settle out of court ( petit larceny)?

I was caught shoplifting at Kohl's, I am so sorry what I did and I will never do it again. Isn't like I didn't have money it was just an inpulse and I will regret it the rest of my life. Well now the cop gave me a court day and I wasn't taking to jail. I will like to know if I can settle this case with the people from Kohl's so they drop the charges from me. Can I do this or you have any more options I really don't want this on my record or being in jail. Thank you for reading my question you have a great day!
