Relative Clauses Help

Help: Relative clause?

They have different meanings!

The first one means "out of all the many girls, Mary is the only one who makes me happy."
The second one means "There is only one girl. She is Mary who always make me happy."

The only actual mistake is that you wrote "joys" instead of "joy" in the second sentence.

ALSO CORRECT: He bought a car WHICH runs fast.

4. This is a place WHERE I always feel good.

6. A lion is an animal THAT is very strong.
ALSO CORRECT: A lion is an animal WHICH is very strong.

7. The girl WHOSE mother speaks English well.... (incomplete sentence)
A complete sentence would be, for example:
This is the girl WHOSE mother speaks English well.
Or:
I know the girl WHOSE mother speaks English well.
Or:
The girl WHOSE mother speaks English well is not here right now.

8. A detective is a person WHO discoverS everthying!
ALSO CORRECT: A detective is a person THAT discoverS everthying!

9.This is a pub_______. I used to come here.
These are two sentences. We can rewrite them in a new sentence using a relative clause:
This is a pub WHERE I used to come.
This is the pub WHERE I used to come.

Good luck!
