What's it like to buy an iPhone from Best Buy vs. the Apple Store?
I bought a 4 there, cause I wanted to use my BB card. It was simple and fast. I knew what I wanted and didn't ask a bunch of questions. We were upgrading. It's not the same experience as shopping the Apple Store, I think Apple employees are better trained and there's way more accessories. It's a good alternative and likely more convenient depending on location.

I bought an Iphone in Thailand and am using it in malaysia . Let me give you some advise . Iphone from there are GREAT but there are some practical issues you need to consider . The most important one is that you will have to buy one without a plan . These guys are excellent but you know you need to give em ALL your favorite tunes and tell em all the games you want as you CANNOT use itunes If you think you need to constantly change the music you want and plan to use many aplets etcs get one in your country WITH that expensive plan . I am only two hours by flight away from Bangkok and its not too tough for me . For you ? How would your parents KNOW what you want and how often can you come for thier service which by the way is excellent ? Logictics is a serious issue you MUST look at
