How do I email the Cialis company about their annoying commercial?
The company is Lilly ICOS, LLC. Emailing them won't help. The purpose for the commercial is not to be entertaining (as most would think) but to associate their product with it's purpose. Because of this annoying commercial, a majority of people if your market (area which is showing the commercial) are more likely to remember Cialis next time they have an erectile dysfunction issue. I'll prove it: Name one competitor to Cialis aside from Viagra. Can't think of any? I'll give you a hint: "Meet Bob." [Answer below] The marketing teams behind annoying commercials want to drum their product into your head by any [legal] means possible. The "five dollar footlong" Subway campaign was successful because of that god-awful song. I'm sure it got no end of complaints. So why did they keep it? Because it worked. Here's the kicker. If you were to email Lilly ICOS, LLC about the campaign they are running, and somebody actually read it, it would only confirm to the marketing team that the campaign is working. It would make it last longer. TV spam is still spam. Asking them to stop causes more. Oh and the answer to the "Meet Bob" thing above? Enzyte... and now I got the whistling tune stuck in my head. For example in a consequentialist system we might say lying to Natzi’s to prevent them from finding Jews is good. But lying to steal money from old people is bad. In Kant’s philosophy both are bad. You are not allowed to justify breaking one of the rules derived from the categorical imperative just because it appears that in a certain circumstance it seems like would have a better outcome.
