Repost The Doctors Office

I need a doctors note but I don't have insurance.?

I'm planning on calling out sick from work on Monday. Reason being is because I actually have an interview on the same day for a night job. I need to go to this interview very badly because I need the extra money. I've already tried once while at my current job to be released so that I could attend the interview, of course they said no and I was lucky enough to be called back and rescheduled for a new time. I don't want to have to reschedule again because the opportunity may be passed on to someone else. So I was planning on calling out sick but that would require a doctors note. I do not have insurance. I don't know if anyone knows if it's regular practice for doctors offices to hand out doctors notes for nominal fee's even without insurance, even when your not really sick and do need to actually see a doctor? Should I do this or just call out sick and tell them that I don't have insurance and couldn't see a doctor?

Can my doctor tell my parent/guardian that I'm sexually active since I'm a minor? Please HELP?!? (REPOST)?

Short answer is no. Let's walk through the visit. You should meet the physician with your parent(s)!
Relationships must have a foundation of Trust. Your aim is to maintain that with Mom, and your physician. You should have an exam soon after you begin menses cycles. Some offices allow parents to remain in the office during an examination. If your Mom leaves you can ask then. If not...
Earlier tell your Mom you have a question; you'll actually ask the question; to ask in private. Share the question with Mom. Tell her you'd like to talk to the physician also, but alone. Make sure Mom isn't outside the door. Refuse to share the question while Mom is there. If your Mom doesn't ask for a private convo with the physician for you, you will have to do it. So then direct the physician by saying that you don't want that information given to Mom or your Dad. You can't exclude it from your records so your doctor needs to add a note that this information isn't to be shared so a receptionist won't accidentally comment. Get the answer to the question so you can share it with Mom. I cover sensitive information with a sticky note, but computers may use a code:date format. Allow your physician to 'just provide clinical details that pertain to overall hygiene, and well being'. If your Mom wants the straight goods, 'is she still a virgin?' Your physician will be able to suggest that they speak with you. A physician may review your choice every time you see them after that. My daughters did this, they were more worried about me talking to the guys parents. Dating is most evident because you don't make time for me-time. Join the parents for supper, it's good for your character.

Repost: Can a girl get pregnant if?

First of all, I know I'm stupid. You don't need to tell me.

So if girl touches a guy really briefly (like maybe 2 minutes max) and he's not wet with precum at all, then waits 30-60 min, then touches herself, can she get pregnant from precum even if she didn't feel any wetness? Really worried.

sorry I just want some more opinions.

Which one is correct, "We would appreciate it if you sent us…" or "We would appreciate it if you would send us…"? Is the second one at least usable (maybe in some special cases)? Is there a better way to say it?

Both are gramnatically correct and both convery same meaning of impossibility ie the listener will not send it.

Women with PCOS/suspected PCOS?

Did you ever have problems with getting a doctor to listen to you? I went to my family doctor today and the nurse (who worked in high risk pregnancy for 20 years) did my pap smear. I was talking to her about my history since she is new to my doctor's office and we were doing the "getting to know you" bit. She is the FIRST medical professional to actually listen to me and my concerns and the relief of having someone listen to me and take me seriously made me break down in tears right there in her office! LOL I have been married for 10 years and have NEVER had a regular period. After being married for a year and ttc the whole time, I went to a doctor to find out what was wrong. Because I was 20 at that time, the nurse told me that I was still very young and shouldn't be worrying about ttc!! A few years later, I had read an article in a health magazine about a woman who was diagnosed with PCOS and every single symptom she described is exactly what my symptoms are/were. After reading this article, I asked my last OB/GYN about PCOS and he acted offended when I asked about it and told me that it wasn't likely that I had it (without testing me or anything). I had to ask him to put me on birth control since I read that regulates your periods and he agreed (although he didn't agree with me being on birth control since I am married). I am NOT a hypochondriac and avoid going to any doctor at all costs so it's not like I read about a medical condition and automatically think I have that condition. The nurse that did my pap smear today ended up referring me to a friend of hers that is an OB/GYN so that he can run tests and hopefully resolve my gyno problems. My question is this when it comes to being diagnosed with PCOS: Did you ever get so frustrated with not having anyone listen to you that you felt like giving up? I am anxious to get the testing done and (hopefully!) find out what is wrong with my body. Any stories from women who have experienced the same thing I have with doctors from HE## would help a lot so that I don't feel so alone with my frustrations! LOL =)

How can i pretend my wrist is sprained?

haha i've never thought of that.. pretty good idea bro! nah dude to pull it off your gonna need one of these wrist cast things here: http://www.plasticsurgeryaustin.com/images/handSprain.gif .... And then your gonna need a arm sling and i wouldn't think you would need a doctor note if your gym teacher was smart enough.. If not go on google images and print out a doctors slip you might have to edit it to say your doctors office on "paint" that's if you have windows if you have mac i don't know what the program is but yeah save it edit it then print it out then sign it saying your local doctors signature.. That's what i do at least when i have to get out of school... Best of luck!
