Republican Amedicans Which Man Would You Prefer As You President

Republican Amedicans: which man would you prefer as you president???

Nieto is PRI. Are you old enough to remember the PRI? He says he's different but he's a polished politician from a long line of politicians. He has a formal education but you wouldn't know it. He can't name a single book he's read other than the Bible and he doesn't appear to know which capitals are in which States in Mexico. That's sad because there are only 31.

I didn't vote for Obama, either time but I'd choose him over Nieto.

Would African Americans support a black Republican president?

I'm black and a former Republican just like Colin Powell. I don't vote based on the race of the candidate but on their qualifications. The GOP swung more and more to the right and basically pushed out a lot of fine people along the way as they embraced anti-government extremists, nutty conspiracies and very thinly veiled racism when attacking Barack Obama years ago. If they had stuck to issues instead of diving deeper into the gutter with slimy personal attacks that don't even make sense, perhaps there might still be a few prominent black party members whom I could respect. The birther nonsense was the last straw for many including my father who was retired military and a lifelong Republican until that election cycle. I The birther nonsense was a ridiculous attempt to delegitimize Obama by painting him as “other.” A thinking person would wonder why the birther idiots couldn't figure out that Obama could have had a Martian father and been born on a secret moon colony and still been a US citizen by birth because his mother is a citizen from Kansas. Duh.Anyone buying onto such BS including the blacks put forth by the GOP were not qualified to be elected dog catcher let alone POTUS. Hermain Cain and Ben Carson were pandering jokes of candidates who wouldn't have gotten on a national stage as candidates if they weren't part of the tiny cadre of black faces the GOP can put on media to say, “See we're not racists. We have black people who say things for us.” They were window dressing, and the fact that they thought that they were seriously in contention makes me respect them even less. It was a sad sideshow from the formerly “grand” old party.BTW. I'm not a Democrat or a liberal, so the usual apologists can just spare us their comments. If there are black people who want to post their own answers, they should go for it.

Would America vote for a Jewish person for president (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, etc.)?

It all depends on the platform for me. Show me what your cards are. How are you going to act when you get into office. Do you have my best interests in mind? Do I agree more with what you are saying or what the other guy or gal is saying? I don’t care what religion they are, I care what kind of leader they will be. If I see scandals right from the start that are true, (Emails) or they act like a creep (Biden) or wants the country to be more socialist (Bernie) or have a personality that kind of grates on my sensibilities (Trump) (Pocahontas), or a gosh darn talk show host, what are people thinking! Then I will have to make a choice when it comes time to vote.

How can intelligent Americans vote Republican?

By listening to intelligent Republicans and voting for them. There are plenty of intelligent politicians out there who don't agree with you. Some of them are quite convincing and have even talked me into re-considering my position a few times. That's a very healthy thing to do. Please try to avoid the straw men. Don't see all Republicans as this mob of uneducated, insane zombies. They're people too and they might be right about some of the things that they're saying.

Can Americans vote in both democratic and republican primaries?

Back in the nineties, a few states had “blanket primaries.” That meant you could vote in the Republican primary for one office, and you could simultaneously vote in the Democratic primary for another office. For example, you could vote in the Republican presidential primary and at the same time in the Democratic congressional primary. However, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that practice unconstitutional in the case of California Democratic Party v. Jones (2000). So now, in every state a voter can only participate in one party’s primary each election season.

Suppose you were a faithful republican adviser to president jefferson in 1803?

Arguments that americans already lived there in form of native americans pre contact.
I might also point out how there are christian fascists seeking to re write history say the brown colour native americans were not americans and seek to deny them their rights.
I would say it was not democratic since they did not choose to become part of second u.s.a
the book by chris hedges could be ajusted to 1803 with ideas about spanish inquisition being fadcist with male dominated power structure and this could be understood..
