Requirements For Moving Cat To Philippines

Cat acting weird after moving to a new house. Will he be ok?

My cat Edwin is my best friend and I am a little concerned. I just moved back in with my parents today, and he hasnt gone to explore the house at all. He was exploring around my room for maybe an hour or so, and he would walk around, and then he tried to jump up on the window, but fell because he didnt realize that my parents windows dont have a place for him to perch. Then he had a run in with my stepdads cat and he was very agitated and hisses and growls whenever she is near, and she tried to fight him. I have kept them apart since then, and he has a separate litter box and food in my room. What I am concerned about is he is acting strange. Not like himself. he isnt eating anything, unless I give it to him once piece at a time, and when I put him next to his litterbox to remind him that he can use it, he hisses (and he NEVER hisses at me)

he is just laying on my bed next to me sleeping, he lets me pet him and all that, but he just isnt moving around, eating, using his box, which is unlike him because he doesnt lounge around much.

My mom thinks that he is scared of the new place he is in, and only feels safe on the bed.

Anything I should do to make him feel better? or just give him time? I am also worried because he has had accidents (pee on bed, poo on carpet) before, im a little worried he will forget to use his box.

Can an apartment complex that allows pets require you to keep cat strictly indoors?

My boyfriend just moved into an apartment and he made sure the apartment policy allowed for cats since we have 2 indoor/outdoor cats. We are planning on moving the cats in in 3 weeks so he was given paperwork for the deposit and pet policy. It was never mentioned to him before this point, but apparently they require you to keep the cats indoors only. Can an apartment legally tell you what to do with your pet? We are paying the pet deposit so I'm not sure why they can tell you whether or not to let the cat outside. We live in California, I can't figure out if this is legal or not. Any advice you could offer would be helpful :)

Emotional support animal rules and requirements?

I'm interested in getting my dog registered to become an emotional support animal in case of me moving and needing to take her with me. She's a Great Pyrenees and the sweetest thing on earth. I have really bad anxiety and PTSD at night and need her to help me sleep, having a giant mass of animal laying on top of me is the only thing I've found to work (other than medication of course but I'd rather stay away from that). I was confused on a few facts of how to get an emotional support animal registered while staying inside the laws and not abusing the system like I know many do. 1. Therapy is expensive for me and not really a good option, so do I have to consistently see a therapist or a doctor to get my ESA certified? 2. I've seen online certifications like CertaPet that will send you a ESA letter, are those legitimate? 3. If I move into a housing situation that has a weight limit but still allows pets, can that person deny me even if I have a ESA letter? (My dog is a big girl at over 100lbs, but very calm and well behaved)

Any and all information on this topic will be appreciated!! Thank you in advance!

Apartments that require cat vaccines?

The only vaccine required by law is rabies.

I am sorry you are facing this. If this is your only option then please only use a non adjuvant rabies.

Vaccine Associated Sarcomas (VAS) or Injection Site Fibrosarcomas - are a type of cancer caused by vaccines. Vaccines containing adjuvant, a component to stimulate the immune system, are at least 5 times more likely to cause a VAS.
VAS is 100% fatal if the tumor is between the shoulder blades. With surgical removal, radiation therapy and chemotherapy survival time is less than 3 years. If the tumor is in the distal part of the rear leg, amputation, plus radiation, & chemo may be curative in 20% of cases.

Non - Adjuvanted vaccines are available for cats for all preventable diseases including Rabies, Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Calici virus and Feline Leukemia, and are considered safer.

Intranasal Vaccines are safer.
The AVMA VAS Task Force recommends, to reduce the risk of VAS:
#1. reduced vaccination schedules,
#2. vaccination in the distal hind limb, and
#3 intranasal and non-adjuvanted vaccines.

Dogs' & cats' immune systems mature fully at 6 months. If a modified live virus (MLV) vaccine is given after 6 months of age, it produces an immunity which is good for the life of the pet (i.e. canine distemper, parvo, feline distemper)(15- p35, 20, 21, 23) Modified live virus vaccines must replicate to stimulate the immune system. If another MLV vaccine is given, the antibodies from the first vaccine block the replication of the new virus. The actively acquired immunity in effect neutralizes the antigens of second vaccine, and there is little or no effect. (8,15,16,19,23a,23c) The titer (level of immunity) is not "boosted" nor are memory cells expanded.
Not only are annual boosters for parvo and distemper unnecessary (6), they subject the pet to the potential risk of adverse reactions like allergic reactions, Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (4, 21) (a disease where the dog rejects its' own blood) and Injection Site Fibrosarcomas for cats.
The AVMA Council on Biologic and Therapeutic Agents has stated: There is no scientific documentation to back up label claims for annual administration of modified live virus vaccines.

How can I stop my cat from moving the kitten to another spot?

They are already in the living room. The kitten is 4 weeks old. The kitten and the mama been there since the birth of the kitten.
Now she wants the kitten to be under my daughter's bed. Not a good idea because my daughter might step on it.
I closed my daughters door but the cat is waiting any second for that door to be open to get the kitten in. How do I stop this?

Before this starting happening:
She already had taken out of the box the kitten. She does not want the kitten inside the box so now they sleep in the floor under a table that's in the corner. I tried to put the kitten back in the box and she takes it out of the box.

My Cat seems like he is in pain...howling, meowing, not moving?

My wonderful cat is not feeling right. He is such a lovely sweet affectionate cat. The whole day he has been laying under a bed, not moving, and howling awfully loud...it is so sad to hear. I moved him onto a softer area to make him comfy and when I think he has fallen asleep he just howls SO SO loud like he is in pain.

It doesnt seem like he has broken any bones, and I have tried "pressing" all over his body and there dont seem to be any super sensitive spots. He has puked just a little bit.

What could be wrong with him? Stoumach ache?

He is a totally healthy cat, this is so random and I feel so bad for him :(

We are going to the vet ASAP in the AM

Been feeding a feral cat and now moving..?

I've been in an apt. for a year and have been feeding a feral/stray cat (very skiddish) and now we are moving soon. He has become accustomed to coming every night for the food we leave out for him. I've thought about trapping him and taking him to a shelter, etc. to get him off the streets. I'm worried. What should I do? What would you do?

What are the best activities to do with children when visiting Marikina City, Philippines?

I heard there’s a new two or three resorts there but I haven’t checked them out personally. But if your only option is Marikina and you want to chill at the pool side and swim go look’em up.Definitely try Crave Park PH at Barangka , your family will love the place - it’s like a carnival of food! you’ll never get enough of the food selection, you’ll be stuffed before you even tried quarter of all the selection. Though, I advice going there early, like 3–3:30 pm as the place get jam packed as soon as it opens (based on our experience). Also, go early if you’ll be bringing a car. They don’t have much parking space. They open between 4 pm to 12:30 pm, but the place is open as early as 3 pm.There is also some museums in Marikina like:Book Museum cum Ethnology Center located at Marikina Heights if you want to see big ass replicas, artifacts and, did I mention books? The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures. It’s also in Barangka so you can side trip there after filling up yourselves at Crave Park Ph. There’s a vast display of miniature stuff. Well, because its a miniature museum (lol). WARNING: you need to brace yourselves if you have a very young children as the artifacts/miniatures is placed quite high - around 3–4 feet above the ground? . You’ll need to carry your kids for them to see mostly all of the artifacts .Philippine Science Cetrum is located at Marikina River Banks. Now this place will be enjoyed by kids and kids by heart with the sciency activities they can offer, specially for young Science enthusiast.Of course, there’s SM, Sta.Lucia, Robinson but these are some personal recommendation of the things you can go to that Marikina can offer. You can also google up Marikina for more places to try.Or, you can go a bit to the west, to Antipolo. There’s Las Casas Museum, lame resorts, average resorts, classy resorts and many more resorts!
