its just been going very slow and none of my apps are working. i cant log on to facebook or get on to the market without it saying "network connection error"
its really irritating me.
i was wondering how i can fix this. is it bad to completely root or reset my phone? will it make it go faster? or slower? will it ruin my phone if i factory reset it? i heard that if you do there is a risk of "bricking" the phone or something..... like making it unusable.... is that possible
im scared to reset it cause i don't want to mess it up even more than it is

How to install android 4.1 or 4.2 on an empty phone?

I don't get that "teamwin" but according to ur xplanation, I guess it's a custom rom since u mentioned that "Teamwin" at startup/boot and google. (IMP/in my prediction)
1. It's not an empty device, it just corrupted or its system is badly conflicted so that it stuck at bootscreen. Perhaps u can go to recovery mode and perform wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache/partition (and wipe dalvic cache if ur phone have that option). If it still fail u...
2. Yes, u can Flash stock rom/stock firmware BUT REMEMBER "based on ur phone's exact model" and do follow the instructions properly according to where u get the guide. Or just search on google "how to flash stock rom on nexus s?" or "how to flash jellybean on nexus s?"(IF ur phone's supported but if it's not, u can search the lower version like ICS or gingerbread) like "how to flash ICS on nexus s?" then find the right link from the selections.
3. Gud Luck! and Happy Flashing!
