Rf Online Private Server

How can I take info from my private web server through wireless and display it on lcd using arduino nano?

You need to pick a wireless technology / system based on your application. Typically, most projects use: WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, XBee, cellular (GSM), other RF devices (generic radio transceivers), etc. There are a lot of things you need to consider: type of data, data rates, range, cost, power consumption, portability, reliability, etc. WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular offer the highest data rates and bandwidth, but are the costliest. If you are just sending low data rate command signals or simple data, you could use generic radio transceivers. These are also really cheap! As for range, cellular has the greatest (obviously!) followed by WiFi and Bluetooth. Some ZigBee / XBee modules have high range capabilities too!Since you are transmitting data from a server, I recommend WiFi or Bluetooth. It's easy to integrate to your server computer and you might not need extra transmitter hardware since smartphones, laptops, and tablets have them built-in (assuming you're server is such a device). Saves cost too!Server side: You would need a software library that can communicate with the WiFi or Bluetooth device. Python has an excellent and easy to use Bluetooth library "PyBluez". For WiFi,  the easiest method is for the server to host a small web service (or web page) for the client (Arduino) to login (e.g.: a small Python or Node.js web app that listens for connections on an IP address and transmits server data when a connection is made). A harder option is to use low-level socket programming in C, Python, etc. I suggest you research the libraries available and pick one that you like.Client side: Here you have the Arduino and LCD. You need WiFi or Bluetooth hardware connected to the Arduino to receive data. For WiFi, I recommend the ESP8266 device (I own 2 and they're great). For Bluetooth, I recommend the HC-05 or HC-06. The HC-06 is easier to set up but the HC-05 has more features. Do your research! These devices communicate via UART so it'll be easy to interface with the Arduino. Arduino libraries for these devices are readily available, or you could write your own (like I always say)!I have built projects like this in the past and it wasn't too hard. Also, there are plenty of tutorials online for you to research. IoT projects are really popular these days. Cheers and good luck!

RF Online private server (RF Xtreme)?

Where can I find that private server? I used to play in that one but I can't find it now. I read somewhere they changed the website and the server name, does anyone know where to find it then?

What online games can be played by two people who live in different countries?

All types of multiplayer online games can be played by more than one people who are living apart in different countries. The best-played games are MMORPGs. It includes various types of online massively multiplayer games that can be played by connecting with any of the servers of that particular games. Some of the most preferred MMORPG games are given below:Ran OnlineRF OnlineRose OnlineFlyFFForsaken WorldMu LegendMu-OnlinePerfect WorldRunescapeUltima OnlineWorld Of WarcraftCounter-StrikeGTA 5Jade Dynasty, etc.To join the top ranked popular private servers of any of these MMORPG games, you can visit mu Global.

Have you ever been banned from online games?

I have. The story isn’t that grand. There was this popular MMORPG called Rising Force Online or RF Online. The game takes place in a fictional world where there are 3 races, named Cora, Bellato, and Accretia, and they fought each other to get the right to the mining site. The game was so popular that there were a lot of private servers spawning everywhere around the globe. So my friend tried one of this particular private server and invited me to play with him. Turns out he knows an exploit that allows you to duplicate items, but needed 2 players to be done. So I helped him duped talics (item to upgrade your equipments) and Elemental accessories (those high-end accessories that boost stat tremendously). We did this quite some time to get ourselves a set of high end equipment and start leveling at high level maps. We also helped other people to level.Too bad the GM caught on us and announced our IGNs using the announcement feature. He also did some speech and me being a short tempered young man responded to that GM with nonsense. Shortly after that I got kicked from the game.So the story isn’t that grand but I think being specially called out by GM is something. As a bonus, I also have cheated on SEAL Online on my local area years ago (10?). There was a massive outbreak of dupe hack, and that caused a huge inflation on the server that items exceeded billions in price and you’d need Diamonds to trade for something that exceeds 4 billion cegels in asking price.I took part in the whole dupe stuff as well as my friends (after I taught them). I didn’t get banned for this, but my friends who were taught by me got banned. Until this day I don’t know why I could get away with that.Nowadays I don’t cheat anymore though. It doesn’t provide sense of achievement to me and the effort needed isn’t worth the result.

What are the costs of running a server for an MMO?

It can vary by a lot, mostly by 1. how many concurrent players you plan to serve and 2. how good your custom server tech is.Say you want to serve 1,000,000 concurrent players at peak times. You will probably use multi-shard server tech that combines a set of server machines into a shard (minimum, atomic game server fit for say, 20k players) and multiple shards per game server location, with the ability to add and drop shards as player numbers and *locations in the game world change. Typical examples might use 9 uber machines in a shard with game servers that could use up to 36 shards, so up to 324 racked hardware servers per game server, per region. As the world turns, player numbers rise and fall per region, of course, peaking at local 6pm - 1am. You don't want to disadvantage a player in one time zone by forcing them onto a distant server. There are whole classes of bugs for high ping players.Once you get the base multiplayer game going, you can start getting your data sent per frame as low as possible, for player locs, movement, actions, etc so you can squeeze more player on a server. More players on fewer servers is your main tool to limit costs and improve revenue. (also base server specs - what level of box is good enough)Maybe you need a more humble system to only serve 50k concurrent players and your tech is good enough to serve 10k people per box (that would be pretty elite). You end up with a one box shard and a game server that can expand to 5 shards, on demand. So, if you use machines that normally go for $100 per month and get a bulk discount of even 50% , that would still be 5 x $50 servers or $250 per location with maybe 5 in the US and one in Europe at $1500 per month, for this example.BTW, as a total SWAG, to have 50k peak concurrent players, that means you maybe sold 2,000,000 units of client software and 150k are still subscribing. At $5 a month per, your cash flow is $750k / month. Good F2P MMO's might make a similar amount but in either case, you would be paying down the more than $100M it cost to make the game and will have a content team pumping out new material at a burn rate of about $1.5M/mo. You see the problem with this kind of math.*Oh, and if you have an event in the game, like a holiday event, that attracts everyone to one place on the map, at one time, your shard system will need to be pretty clever.Good luck.

Is it worth getting a VPN (virtual private network)?

The answer depends on why you think you need it.If you are downloading torrents illegally, then yes a VPN can hide your IP address, assuming that the VPN service hasn’t been compromised. If you are in a country that has a national firewall, such as China, it can be illegal to use one to get around the firewall, though I understand that foreign companies and expats living in China use VPNs to bypass the firewalls.BUTVPNs will slow you down.VPNs will not protect you from Phishing, or bots, or other trojans.VPNs will not protect your banking or other financial activities any more than the security that exists without them.VPNs add a monthly cost.VPNs are the new sexy thing, though they have been around for decades. Company Point to Point VPN’s are used to secure otherwise insecure communications between employees by encrypting data from end to end. But VPN services only encrypt from you to the service. From the service to the end point you are no better off than if you were not using a VPN.With a corporate VPN the end user had reason to know the other side was not evil. Such is not true when using a service that simply sits in the middle between you and a site you really know nothing about.
