Rhh Rate Your Life 1 Out Of 100

What is the average life span of a laptop?

Thanks for A2A chandresh. Here what I got on internet for you. Actually this solely depends upon you,how you use your machine. As a rule of thumb, the hardware in adecent laptop will be "up to date" fortwo years, and the laptop can be expected to have a lifespan of 4 yearsduring which it requires 1 or more repairs, after four years it may accumulate problems beyond the capability of economical repair. A desktop will be "up to date" for two years, likely run into a small problem within 4 years ($50 to $100 to fix), and can last 6 years before the cost of repair exceeds remaining value. Laptops are more expensive to repair, and are more likely to have problems that are impossible to repair. Lifespan depends entirely on how you use the machine. The fastest way to destroy a laptop is to place it on a bed while it is running. This prevents hot air from escaping under the laptop and causes parts to overheat. This results in excess wear and tear of the silicon chips (which expand with heat and contract when cooled). A laptop that is usually left on a bed overnight is lucky to last a year without expensiveor permanent hardware damage. Similarly, desktops that are not allowed to ventilate properly will encounter problems within 3 years, probably sooner, depending on the hardware (more advanced and powerful hardware produces more heat, thus causing more damage). Laptops are subject to more abuse than desktops, which is why laptops have shorter lifespans. If the average laptop made today were placed in a clean, well ventilatedroom, it could likely run for 10 years without problem if no one touched it.A desktop would probably last 15 years without problem in the samecondition. Technically, computer components can run forever, if kept on and at full power without interference. For example, many of the satelitesorbiting the Earth have been there for two or three decades and continueoperating. They are subject to considerable abuse when launchedfrom Earth, but are in a perfectly clean environment since then, and areproperly shielded from solar radiation.

RHH: My top 10 most overrated hip hop albums (Rate, Hate, Debate)?

Truly's question got me thinking about making this list, and I thought it might provoke a good discussion....

1. Life After Death
2. The Marshall Mathers LP
3. Stillmatic
4. The Blueprint
5. It Was Written
6. All Eyez on Me
7. Champion Sound
8. The Chronic
9. Madvillainy
10. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx

Hon. mention to Doggystyle and Raising Hell

By no means am I saying any of these are bad albums (except for Champion Sound which is why it's so high on my list), but IMO the praise these albums receive from hip-hop fans is WAY higher than the quality of music.

And I'm obviously not including flavour of the month albums like The Carter III which will fade into obscurity in a few years like Nelly's Country Grammar did.

Thoughts?

RHH : ESPN's Bomani Jones calls Guru the most overrated rapper and Life After Death the most overrated album of all time ? (Link inside)?

http://www.allhiphop.com/2015/04/22/boma...

1. Do you agree with this guy's opinion ?
I'm like calling Life After the most overrated album does makes sense to me but Guru being the most overrated rapper is bs.

2. What do you think about Guru's solo career ?
I mean yeahh he was great on Preemo's beats but what about his solo career do you find his solo career and the Jazzmatazz thing overrated ?

B.Q : Who do you is better between the choices below ?
# Ab-Soul vs Schoolboy Q
# T.I vs Lil Wayne
# Mobb Deep vs UGK
# Nate Dogg vs Mary J. Blige (better feature artist over Hip Hop tracks)
# God's Son vs American Gangster

How much would you rate Zidane's Q.I. from 0 to 100 ?

0 to 100 I.Q. ? i am lot above 100 like everyone else in the forum execpt totally retard zidane ,,, and you spelled wrong it is NOT Q.I. It is I.Q.

zidane is a retard i d say 50 .I.Q. maybe 35 ?

Is a heart rate of 80 beats per minute healthy?

Well, Let's assume it is resting heart rate, 80 bpm is within the normal range (typically 60-100 bpm). It will be another case if it is not resting heart rate. There is some correlation between normal heart rate and healthy heart. However, it is not significant.  A patient could have various arrhythmias but with normal heart rate.  You need to look at their ECG morphology or Medical images to determine if it is healthy.  Heart rate variability (HRV) probably will be more helpful than simple HR to indicate if the heart is normal or not

RHH: So I'm making a top 1000 rap and hip hop albums of all time list...?

It's funny that you bash people for knowing more than you. Name a rapper Madliberator hasn't heard? You're labled as a backpacker.

What happened to your retirement anyway? Realize your life was nothing without Y!A? At least when I threaten to retire, I don't leave at all.

(Time to pull out the 30-year old pedo card, bud. Hate to break it to you, but 19 year olds are the ones that should be partying. Not worshipping Madlib on a forum)

You've been saying you were 19 since you've been on this site, homie. If you were lying, well then I guess that just adds to how pathetic you are.

The term "backpacker" doesn't bother me, by the way. I'd rather be a hipster and know more than you than have my favorite rapper be Project Pat (lol).

At the end of the day, you're the fool with little to no knowledge of the category you spend all of your time in.

Do we need to do the weekly point count again?

Madliberator - 178
Metal Quality - 61

And you call me an idiot ;)

What should your average CPU usage be to keep your computer running at its best?

0 - 100%. Seriously. Average really depends on what tasks you're throwing at it. If most of your computer activity is spent idle, anything 0 - 100% on the occasional peak for background services would be acceptable at any given time and the measured average will alternate. When running stressful tasks, anything 70 -100% will be expected for an average depending on your setup. 100% average isn't desirable but stress testing software for example will be able to keep any CPU there.Modern software is designed to take as much advantage of what power is there as possible, so unless you're running something from pre 2001 or something, I would always expect any CPU to be hitting 100% for brief periods unless your install of the OS is fresh that day, your computer is sitting idle and has been for a while (light web browsing at most), or you have a very unusual OS. So for the variety of tasks an average user might do, if we include stress testing, an average of anything between 0 and 100% is fine. You really only need to take this into account if your CPU average is constantly over 90 - 100% when doing nothing stressful. This either means the CPU is throttling and you may want to consider cleaning the computer out and replacing the thermal paste between the heat sink and the CPU or looking at your cooling solutions, or you have a virus infection that is spamming the CPU to hinder performance. Outside of these circumstances, CPU average % isn't a very practical measure of system health.Temperature would be a better indicator. Ideally a CPU should stay between whatever your room temperature is and about 60c for a desktop. Laptops are generally ok up to about 90c on the CPU especially if you have one that has onboard GPU. Those without onboard GPU (pre intel core i series) should remain in the same temperature range as their desktop counterparts.

If you spent $1,000 on scratch tickets, what are the chances you'd get the money back?

Almost nil.By design. Each series of tickets is designed as a finite game. A fixed number are printed (T), each has a face value (V), the total series of tickets has a total value (TV). Each series is designed to pay all expenses (retailer payout, return to the governmental authority, printing costs, shipping, etc, etc) and prizes. Each ticket lists the various prize levels and the odds of winning each.By FAR, the most common prize is …. another ticket. And the odds of that are (IME) usually 1:4 or 1:5.For instance, here are the details of a series of tickets, found at Scratch Tickets Details …Game No. 1834 - Willy Wonka™ Golden TicketGame FeaturesEnter Promotional 2nd Chance Drawings To Win A Trip To Las Vegas And A Chance To Win Up To $1 Billion!Over $67 million in prizes in this game!50 Chances To Win!Guaranteed Total Prize Amount = $160 per packPack Size: 50 ticketsPrizes PrintedAmount . . . . This particular example helpfully tells you how many of each prize has been claimed, but crucially, it doesn’t tell you how many tickets have been sold, so no proper valuation of the remaining tickets can be prepared. Also please note that these are $10 tickets. The game is “generously” guaranteeing $160 back on every $500 spent.A few very, very lucky souls will come out ahead, bu defying the odds. But the odds are so long, buying them in bulk makes no appreciable difference, it only guarantees that you’ll have spent more. You’re better off not spending at all, but if you must just buy one and give it a rip.

A security camera is centered 50 ft above a 100 foot hallway... Related Rates Question! HELP?

A security camera is centered 50 ft above a 100 foot hallway. It rotates back and forth to scan from one end of the hallway to the other. It is easiest to design the camera with a constant angular rate of rotation, but this results in a variable rate at which the images of the surveillance area are recorded. Therefore, it is desirable to design a system with a variable rate of rotation and a constant rate of movement of the scanning beam along the hallway. What rate of rotation is necessary to accomplish this? Verify you solution with some specific constant rates of movement.
