Lower back pain on my right side?

I have a pain in my back on the lower right side. It doesnt hurt when im not moving, or anything, however, whenever i use my right leg, it hurts, only when im using it as support or walking on it. I like to do a lot of running so it is a bit of an annoyance. Was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it is and how to sort it out?

Thanks a lot.

What causes pain on the right side towards my back?

'Back pain on the right side' is a pretty vague statement and could be due to numerous reasons. Causes can include a muscle sprain/spasm, vertebral column anomalies, disk herniation, ankylosing spondylitis, sciatica, infections such as pyelonephritis, UTI, pancreatitis, costochondritis, diverticulitis etc. The best solution for you is to seek a professional opinion. Either visit a doctor or talk to one online, like at https://yourdoctors.online/. You need to provide a proper history of the nature of the pain including location, character, severity, radiation, aggravating/relieving factors and associated symptoms (fever, pain while urinating, abdominal pain, appetite changes, history of trauma/injury etc.) You will likely be advised some tests based on this and then you can take it from there. In the meantime, try massage techniques or basic yoga/stretching (supervised of course), and see if there is any improvement.

Back pain on right side, 36 weeks pregnant?

YES. They can be contractions. I went into labor at 36 1/2 weeks with my son he was 7lbs and breathing perfectly on his own. I had continuous back labor the whole time. 17 hours of labor for that little guy! There is such a thing as back labor. Sometimes women feel them in their back as well. Or it could very well be the baby laying wrong and aggravating a nerve as well. Are you feeling any front contractions? bleeding? water leaking? stay in tune with your body and stay on complete bed rest as long as possible. Since you are already 3cm 100% effaced this baby will come quick when your labor starts. Call your doc just to be sure if anything changes. Good luck to you.

Pain in back and right side 34 weeks pregnant?

yes!
i had these that started at 32 weeks. stitch-type pain on my side. its the ligaments stretching and only rest can help it. i found that when i woke up in the morning i would be ok for about 10 min then it would come back again! ahhhh
and its the position of the baby too. somtimes they sit on the nerves and this causes the pain, and also back pain coz of the pressure.
I was induced with my first coz she was 10 days over and no sign of wanting to come out!
but with my second, i got slight tightening pain in my lower abdomen. Its very similar to period cramps.
I still had to be induced coz they were getting stronger but it went on for 3 days and i had enough!
when you feel tight period-type cramps (but alot worse of course) then this is the beginning of contractions. but it doesnt seem like you will go anytime soon, coz the side pain and back pain are from what i said above.
you will be relieved to know the pain will go away after bub is born (oh, so long away) but just relax and dont lift anything too heavy coz this will aggrivate it.
Hope all goes well and you feel better soon.

I have lower back pains, right side pains, pains in right butt cheek down to right leg. What could it be?

It does sound like a bulging disc and sciatica. I have suffered from this for over 20 years. Go to the Doctors or emergency ward at the hospital. They will order Xrays to determine the real cause. Tylenol 3's and anti-inflamatories are the usual medicines prescribed both for the pain and to reduce the inflamation. Complete bed rest is usually the only cure. Lay on your back with pillows under your legs so that your back is straight...this takes the pressure off from the affected disc. You can use ice or a heating pad. I find a heating pad offers the best relief. If you find ice more effective use a bag of frozen peas or corn. Sounds silly but it works. One consequence of repeated disc flareups is often arthritis in your back and permanet nerve damage , both of which I have developed and I find heat gives me the most comfort and relief. Please see your Doctor without delay because this can become a chronic condition if not dealt with in it's earlier stages. Do not do any heavy lifting and really pay attention to the way you move...no sudden or jerky moves. I am now on a disability because of this condition and am not allowed to lift more than 3 pounds, cannot sit or stand for any length of time and cannot work. If it is in fact disc problems you are suffering from, it can be treated or repaired if diagnosed before further damage is done to your back, however if left it will often cause the adjoining discs to deteriorate as well and can become a chronic condition. You should see a doctor as soon as possible. Hope this helps and good luck.
