I want to buy a ring online but I have no idea what my ring size is. When I got my wedding rings I never heard what size they were. What are the average sizes for women? Does a size 8 sound big?

A size 6 ring size in Colombia = what size in USA?
Ring sizes are international therefore a size 6 should fit her in Colombia or the US. However, in the States sizes have vary due to the obesity problem, for example a size L in Colombia may be a size S or M in the States, as they have enlarged sizes to give people the false idea that they can still fit in smaller sizes. I bought rings in Lima and Santiago, size 7 and in the States I;m a size 7 so I can't see how a size 6 in USA is different than in Colombia. A size 6 is quite small. If you want to surprise her (the best will be if she tries it on first but then it wont be a surprise) is to buy a smaller ring and then you can take it to a jeweler to get it fixed. Ask for a size 6 woman as a size 6 man is huge.
