A couple of questions about music taste?
As a kid I used to hate everything about music, I couldn't understand why people loved it. At the age of 11 I bought a Guitar Hero. I remember it was late in the evening when I clicked the song Lithium by Nirvana randomly. I was kind of shocked. Never heard of such kind of music, I used to think the word music was about what tv and my friends liked. Then I searched Nirvana in the internet. Found their cover Where Did You Sleep Last Night and Kurt Cobain made me cry in a minute. I was sobbing. And that night after that good cry, my life completely changed. I'm almost 17 now, thanks to Nirvana, I have built a good taste in music and discovered many new artists in years. I do believe what we listen to depends on our mood but what is more interesting and serious than that is, sometimes what we listen to decides our mood. This really affected my life in negative and positive ways at some point. People ask me who I am, I say "I'm all my music taste." Thank you for the nice question.

Classic Rock songs in Eb?
Believe it or not most popular songs are tuned to Eb. The reason is so you can put a little bit heavier gauge string on the guitar for better bottom end sound out of it. But when tuned down to Eb the strings are easier to bend so it’s almost like you have the same gauge you are use to playing on. I found this out when I went from a set of 9 gauge to a set of ten gauge on a tune-o-matic bridge like on a les paul. But on a flyod rose the floating bridge gives so they are easier to bend then on a fixed bridge or a tremolo bridge like most stratocasters have. But to give you some examples of artists who play in Eb Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led zeppelin, Ac/Dc, Aerosmith just to name a few. The cool thing is once you learn to play your favorite song you can transpose it to any key. This is where music theory comes into play. Hope this helps

I am currently working on a song and i want to do a 80's power ballad sort of thing but i have no idea what im doing . the key is in e minor but i dont know what type of scale to use
