Roll Of Fat When I Bend Over

How many rolls of fat should you have when you sit?

Yes, you’re overweight at the 92nd percentile.

Your mother has one point right...belly body fat protects your internal organs, especially your intestines and reproductive organs that do not have a rib cage to protect them (but that fact does not agree with some countries beauty criteria nowadays).

Body fat is not just a storage system for energy but is used for other purposes, like insulation from cold (winter) or hot (summer) temperatures, protection (cushioning) for your internal organs against external injuries and producing hormones (adipose tissue = fat stored on your body, is an important endocrine organ especially during the teenage years).

Your mother has some kind of syndrome or disorder that should be discovered and studied (contact your local University; they might want to study her). It’s like BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder) but instead of projecting it unto herself; she’s projecting it unto you, externally (then you’ll never be thin enough or fat enough). That combined with an overprotective maternal instinct as she’s using the cushioning power of body fat to protect you from external injuries. Maybe you were or she was or somebody close to her was injured in the past and she wants to protect you. Maybe she wants you to look like a fat pig so you’ll be less attractive and guys won’t go after you to end up hurting you.

I would say, it’s an interesting case.

Your willingness to go with it is interesting as well...like you will eat any food you get whether you’re hungry or not. I’m not sure who is the one who is enabling the other one more.
You have an eating disorder (overheating when not being hungry); most girls your age just stay in control using anorexia or bulimia.

Both your mother and you need professional help. She has a problem, you have a problem but the two of you together make it in 3D.

Edit:
I’ve been to Russia in November once. All the meals were swimming in grease as people fatten up for the harsh winter. I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks, not even eating good food or a lot of food, just fatty food (the healthiest thing was an expensive bottle of coca cola! Just sugar, no fats...refreshing) but then I had to go back home (in France, not as harsh winters as in Russia) and had to lose the weight, which is not easy to do in the winter when your body wants body fat to cozy up.

Why do I have a fat roll when sitting, bending down, or hunching over but almost no abdominal fat and veins in my abs when standing up?

It is not due to your body fat percentage, and you don’t need to lose more fat to get rid of it. Your problem is sticky fascia. it’s common. When fascia doesn’t slide and glide like it is supposed to various structures in the body get stuck together and tend to kind of clump or lump up. I see it in the lower abs all the time - typically due to tight hip flexors and lower back muscles combined with proportionally weak glutes and abs. The solution is to strengthen the glutes and abs, but also to workout the sticking points. The best way is myofascial release massage therapy. baring that - foam roll and use a la-cross ball to break up adhesions in the hamstrings, low back - especially SI joints, and hip flexors.Other ways i’ve found to break up sticky fascia is to be sure to use a full range of motion when weight training, and make sure to feel a full peak contraction in the muscle. The goal is to pump it full of blood to force it to expand and break free. I find the push/pull/flex method works well. that is superset a push movement with a pull movement, then do isometric contractions in the muscles you just worked. The reflex time of fascia is much slower than muscle. up to a full 60 seconds. So to stretch the fascia, gently move into a stretch position and just relax into it right at the edge of comfort. No need to strain or push it, this should be passive and totally relaxing.Yoga helps as well.

When you bend over how many rolls of fat are there on your stomach?

I don't have any?
I'm really fit, I do ballet.

<3 Essie

I get fat rolls on my stomach when I bend over? Is this normal?

Yup.

When I was underweight I still had rolls when I would bend over, and when I slouched while sitting.

It's not fat though! lol It's skin. Everything gets compressed when you bend over. It's weird, but think about your mid-section like an accordion...it changes depending on position.

No worries

Why am I skinny but still have belly fat?

You are skinny fat. When someone is skinny fat, they appear thin when they have clothes on or when you look at them from a distance. However, when you see them with their clothes off and look at their body up close, they actually have more body fat than you thought.See this guy?He looks thin when he has clothes on, right? But look at his body up close when he has no shirt on:This is Margot Robbie with her clothes on. You would think she’s thin, right?Look at her body in bikini:Notice something about both individuals? Both look thin when they have clothes on but when they reveal their bodies and you look at them closely, both people actually have more fat than you thought. If someone is lean (meaning they have low fat percentage), you would be able to see their abs and their bodies wouldn’t jiggle a lot (especially their upper arms, thighs, and bellies). Most skinny fat people are the way they are because they don’t lift heavy weights or do any resistant training. Skinny fat people have low muscle mass. Their fat percentage is high compared to their muscle mass.Skinny fat people also tend to do excessive cardio and eat low calories.Cardio is not going to balance your muscle mass and fat percentage. Lifting does.

Im skinny, but i have fat rolls?

you're skinny-fat. you're out of shape and need to exercise. you know, you could do a few sit-ups and other core-building exercises on your own. you don't have to wait for PE. or maybe you'd rather try yoga, cycling or swimming, etc... there's about 10,000 activities you could take part in besides PE.

au contraire... when i was in my teens i was 5'10" and weighed 119 pounds and was pure muscle, not an ounce of fat on me. nothing folded when i bent over.

Do people with gnarly abs have rolls when they bend over/sit?

I'm trying to build muscle right now :) but when I bend over, I have these crazy rolls (but I'm not fat at all). It's kinda depressing to see, cuz I feel like I'm super fat.

But I know it's normal to have rolls when you bend over or sit down. Does everyone have rolls, even people with stone cut abdominal muscles? Thanks :D
