Did the persian empire ever conquered sparta?
persians were less than a match for greeks, they could not even conquer greek by 1000000 persian soldiers! it is a huge shame. after king leonidas's sacrifice it caused greeks to get united and face persians with 100000 soldiers, persians who were not able to take down few spartans now faced with whole greeks! ofcourse they went defeated and never again dared to get near greek.
