Romeo And Juliet Help

Romeo and juliet essay..pls help!?

i would say start traditionally. For example say, Romeo and Juliet is the most famous love story in the English literary tradition. Love is naturally the play’s dominant and most important theme. The play focuses on romantic love, specifically the intense passion that springs up at first sight between Romeo and Juliet. In Romeo and Juliet, love is a violent, ecstatic, overpowering force that supersedes all other values, loyalties, and emotions.
Then begin to develop your chosen themes.

i hope this helps.
Good luck!

Romeo and Juliet help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

illusion, noun: something that deceives by producing a false or misleading impression of reality.

To me, the illusion is that Juliet has been calling for Romeo until she can barely speak, while Romeo is trying to get to her and is nearby admiring her soft voice.

She says "O for a falc'ner's voice," which means she wishes she could call out loudly for Romeo. Being held back by her previous efforts to locate him by calling his name, she curses her situation: "Bondage is a hoarse and may not speak aloud;
Else would i tear the cave where Echo lies'
And make her airy tongue more hoarse than mine
With repitition of my Romeo's name"

Juliet is under the impression that Romeo is THE ONE, and she believes he feels the same, but at that point, they cannot openly be with each other. They have to sneak around, and she can't find him. She begins to lose hope that she will see him again, there, alone on her balcony in the darkness. The tension exists because Romeo is within earshot, but not beside her where he longs to be.

Ok, that's just a really good guess, but if it makes sense, then I guessed right!

ROMEO and JULIET- please help 10 POINTS?

The first four lines are adapted from lines spoken by Lord Montague and the Friar in the final scene; the next set of four lines are adapted from the Chorus' prologue before Act 1 Scene 1; the third set of four, after the volta, are taken and adapted from Shakespeare's own grave; and the final couplet is taken from Capulet's lines in the final scene, tying in with the final quatrain, and bringing the composition full circle.

Compositionally, this "marries" two lines each from Montague and Capulet, with two lines from the Friar; four lines by the play's all-seeing "narrator," the Chorus, and four lines from the grave of the play's author himself.

I hope you'll all forgive my intellectual indulgence. :) Here's my sonnet:

Mark he who lies, in peace entomb'd in this,
Who pressed before his father to the grave.
Romeo, here dead, sweet Juliet's husband is;
And she was Romeo’s faithful wife so brave.
From forth the fatal loins of deadly foes
This pair of star-cross’d lovers took their life;
Their misadventur’d piteous overthrows
Thus with their death buries their parents’ strife.
Good friend for Jesus sake forbeare,
To dig the dust enclosed here.
Blessed be the man that spares these stones,
And cursed be he that moves these bones.
In peace let Romeo by his lady lie;
Poor sacrifices of this enmity.

Romeo & Juliet Character Analysis Help ?

He is simple and straightforward and doesn't have time for or understand Romeos romantic, unrealistic, fickle character.
In my opinion Benvolio is a good character with good intentions. Whether it was telling someone not to fight, or finding out what was wrong with a friend, “What sadness lengthens Romeo’s hours?,” he was good at talking with people.
His main motivation in the play was to keep the families safe from each other. Benvolio did however try to get Romeo off the streets when Romeo killed Tybalt. He always gave more than was expected of him.
He wouldn’t always be successful at it though.
Other skills Benvolio had in the play was his humor and that he was a faithful friend. The prince of Verona himself asked Benvolio, “Who began this bloody fray?” when he needed to know the truth so that shows that Benvolio is a trusted member of the community and well respected.

Romeo and Juliet help!! Taxonomy of Love?

In my opinion I'd say Romeo is CROS and Juliet is mostly MANIA.

The hints are the mention of "Love at first sight", and the fact that the idealizing of this love is it's downfall. Both Romeo and Juliet are rather naive in their love (What with getting married in less than 24 hours) and they assume it will work out, etc etc, and then the famous ending happens.
As for Juliet, she's often fretting about what Romeo is going to do, and in one scene she gets angry at the Nurse because she took too long in bringing Romeo's message.

It definitely isn't Ludus, because, as I said, they got married in 24 hours.

Storge is close, but Juliet and Romeo both love eachother more than just siblings, and their lives are about nothing except eachother after they meet.

Fragma is just way off.

I think you could argue Juliet is also Cros, but I think in this assignment there is no right or wrong answer. It sounds like if you can come up with evidence as to why their love is ____ then you'll be fine, and that's what it really should be about.
