Ronnie Did You Go To The Derby Chelsea Game

It's my boyhood dream to go to Manchester and watch a live football match at the Old Trafford someday. As an Indian, how should I plan my trip how much funds do I need?

Let me begin by stating that I shared the same dream a year back, but by the end of last year the impossible dream came true..i was at the theatre of dreams. For now i will skip the Why and how I reached there part as it really doesn't matter here and let me rush to answer all your expense related questions.First expense will be of your visa processingTourist visa cost around 100£ (10000 Rs)Flight charges, 600£ (return ticket) if booked 3-4months in advance (60000Rs)Uk stay, if you don't have any friends, relatives the best and most economical place to stay are the B&Bs' (Bread and breakfast) or Travel lodges.B&Bs' charge from around 45 to 50£ a dayHowever if u plan to stay for a month its best to get a PG accommodation, the rent would be around 400£ a month for a room(many Asian families rent their rooms). You will see plenty on the net.So B&Bs' 50£ / day(5000 Rs)The biggest question, match tickets, so let me tell u it depends on the match that you plan to witness. If you are a MUFC member you can book the tickets from Utd site for about 45£But like me I am sure you wont be a member, don't worry. Many members put their season pass on lease. They charge around 80£ pounds and they will courier their season pass to u a day in advance. You can then watch the game on their seats. After the game courier it back to them.Simple!!There are many sites where you can avail this facility.Note: Bigger the match bigger the priceI shelled out 90£ for a game against Westbrom  but the minute u enter the stands it will be worth every penny u spent. So let me count 100£ for match tickets. There you go, you have it. Just keep another 500£ for misc expense (cab, food, site seeing) this will suffice for a week.So to summarize for a week long trip to Manchester, visa 100£Flight 600£B&Bs' 300£Match ticket 100£ per ticketMisc expense 500£Estimate:1600£Which is 1600*100 = 160000 RsOrGet an onsite deputation from your company for some time

I am from India. How much will it cost to watch Manchester United play at Old Trafford, including tickets, travel, etc.?

Return air tickets- Rs. 55,000(Book 3-4 months in advance)Match Day Ticket- Rs. 10,000Hotel(Cheap Dormitory) - Rs. 1200/night2/3 Star Hotel- (2,000/night-6,000/night)Food- 1500-2000/dayVisa fee- Rs. 10,000Considering you want to go for 4-5 days, the cost would be around 55,000+10,000+10,000(Visa)+15,000(Stay and food)+10,000(Miscellaneous)=Rs. 1,00,000Also, check out CouchSurfing where locals can host you at their homes to save on your hotel costs. So you should be able to wrap up this trip and cut OT off your bucket list for around Rs. 1 lac depending on how many days you stay and your standard of living. Do let me know when you are planning to go, I might join you as well.

Why do professional footballers argue with referees when there's no chance of them going back on their decision?

I once refereed several games in a tournament knowing that one of the club coaches was a national-level referee (qualified to referee professional matches).  I made a point to not be intimidated by this fact.  These were youth matches, so in such a capacity a coach has more sway and input than in a higher level match.  He verbally (but generally politely) disagreed with some of my calls.  To be fair, in the last match there was a string of calls which were close, and I went with my best guess and they all seemed to go against him for a span.  As a coach myself, I understood his frustration but kept calling my best calls, for or against him.At the conclusion of the matches, when I knew we would no longer see him as a coach, I asked him if he could politely provide feedback to me and my crew as a referee rather than coach.  At this point I revealed to the rest of my young crew who this coach was.One of my members of the crew politely asked him "How come you disagreed with some of those calls, knowing as a referee that he was never going to overrule his call?" His response was "I wasn't being a referee today; I was being a coach.  I'm not arguing  for that call; I'm arguing for the next close call, so that maybe the referee calls it in my favor.  That's why we as referees should ignore coaches."

Will Tottenham fans come to reality now?

You guys are an average team. You can’t compete in Europe and won’t be challenging for the title. Viva SOnaldo, and especially you Danish Dynamite is you see this before Yahoo bugs the question come to reality.

Why are man utd getting credit, for beating a small team like Leverkusen?

According to some of its fans:since Leverkusen are above Dortmund..then Leverkusen>Dortmund.

So..does that also mean..since Southampton are above man utd..then Southampton > man utd??
