Roomie Complainin He Bored. Should I Make Him Clean Our Entire Apartment

Can I "sneak" my dog into my apartment complex?

So I'm just gonna start with I'm kind of a wuss and probably won't do it anyways but here's some details

I have a puppy and by the end of the month in moving into an apartment. It's a college apartment so I'll have 3 other roommates but we all pay separate bills. It's a $300 per deposit plus an extra $100 for him being a puppy and $30 a month pet rent. In 2 months he won't be a puppy anymore and I wouldn't have to pay the puppy fee.

Also one of my roommates has a dog too who has pis the pet deposit that covers cleaning and everything after we've all moved out. Like I said it's a college apartment so we all move out on the same day.

I'm not trying to get out of it permanently, I'd just like to get out of the puppy fee because he's not destructive at all and very well behaved and I was also out of work for a few weeks due to a back injury so I'm just kinda short on money for the pet deposits right now.

What does everyone think? Is it not worth the risk?

My roommate gets mad if I don't clean up after his dog if I am the first one home.?

Ok, so my roommate got a puppy a few days ago. When we (Him myself, and our other roomie) are at school, she is home alone for 1-3 hours. I do not approve, but she is his dog. It is usually not a problem because we all shut our room doors before leaving her alone. My roommate is pretty good about taking her out to poop in the evenings, because he was class at about 7 am. Anyway, the main issue is the chewing.

This weekend me and my other roommate had an overnight hiking/camping trip with our class and the dog's owner/roomie had to report for Coast Guard. He had his friend come by and watch the dog, but my impression is that she just came on saturday morning and night and that was it. Anyway, we got home and found a pretty sizable mess and spme poop in my roommates room. He cleaned that up and then had to go to work. Since she is not my dog, I left all the chewed up stuff on the floor until her owner came home. He was really pissed at me because apparently it is my job to clean the mess IF I FIND IT. II argued that it is his dog, so he should do it. Eventually he did.

Today when I got home from school, I found my other roommate leaving for work. And when I opened the god, there were about 1000 chwed items on the floor. My fist reaction was "why didn't my roommate clean this. (This would be the roommate who isn't the owner, who I assume was probably home WHILE she was chewing stuff, because he doesn't want anything to do with her usually)

so he left, and I just went in my room and chilled for a bit, and then left to go to the gym. when I got back, my roommate, the dogs owner, and one of our friends were ALL LEAVING to go to the park. so I walk in and the mess was STILL THERE! i'm not a neat freak, so i dont really care about leaving it there for a while, but I do not want to clean it up.

I have tried talking to him about it, but his argument is always "she'll be fine in the house by herself" or "she wont make a mess." but he still leave his room doors closed and says that he doesn't want her to mess in his room, even though it's his dog.

I just wanted some good ol' feedback on my decision to leave every mess i find (unless it's in my room) for him to clean up.

My roommates dog cries the whole time she is gone, even if its for 5 hours, does anybody have any suggestions?

So Angelwolf13 here are so more details you asked for: Lola is a 2 yr old Yorkie who has not been fixed, she has had the dog since she was a couple months. Lola stays in my roommates room and my dog stays with me, which is sometimes running around and frequently in my room. During the day they are both shut in our respective rooms. My roommate says this didnt happen with her other roommates, but they didnt have dogs. I try to let her out, but the second I put her back in her room so she can just eat, she starts barking and crying very loudly. My roommate tells me that letting her out is only making it worse, and that I should just ignore her and not give her her way, but she doesnt have to sit there for 5 hours straight listening to her bark.

When living with your boyfriend Shouldn't HE PAY FOR THE RENT!!!?

Me personally. I would treat my girlfriend like a queen. I wouldn't let her spend a dime. So in this case, I would pay the whole rent, especially if I'm asking her to move in. But not all guys are like that. Maybe he wants you to move in just so you can help with everything, in that case he sounds kinda like a loser and shouldn't of moved out of his parents house. Or he just wants to live with just his girlfriend and needs some help. If so, then that's your choice. Now if you guys agreed on renting a place together, and agreed to do 50/50 that's a different story. At this point if you don't like him a whole lot. I'd think about finding someone else who has more together in their life, or tell him your not ready and he needs to get things together with himself first, like money. Either way, Good Luck!

Roomate's parrot unbearably loud, what to do?

Thank you all for your help, some answers helped us, some didn't -advice I find most appropriate unfortunately didn't work for the roommate because he is convinced that there is NO way to train his bird to ever be friendly to others, parrot many times bitten/hurt his friends and attacked his girlfriend and he seems reluctant to continue dangerous experiments.
So far we have agreed to 'entertain" the bird by talking to him while the owner is not home, which calms him down well. Also, suggested turning on a radio for him (now I am SURE we will hear this radio at 7 A.M haha) and told him to really cover the bird, not partially like he does while we are still asleep. I refused his offer to place the bird next to my dog's crate, my dog looooves herself some parrot meat and will break the cage to kill him. So, we will do all that we can.
Thank you guys!
