Run Out Of Sims 3 Family Ideas As Many Answers As Possible

Sims 3 Late Night family ideas?

Ok so i've run out of ideas for family's on sims 3, and only have up to late night.. *sigh* and all of the sim families i've made are boing me, i've tried teen parents (sorta fun,i did it without mods) and i've tried a regular guys going around trying for baby with every female sim (even married sims) And i've tried making my actual family, i've got bored. So yeah, any ideas for stories/familys and etc.?

Sims 2 family ideas to make it fun again? ?

Aw I wish I could play.I have the game, but my video card won't support it. =(

I think you should make an affair ;) Get a guy to marry a lady and then have another girlfriend somewhere. Then get children with his wife and then run off with his girlfriend.
Then get the two ladies to meet each other and have a fight. Have the couple divorce and the guy marry his other woman. Then have that woman have an affair. lol that would be messed up,but i guess interesting.

Family Ideas for Sims 3?

Maybe, try to make family members that are complete opposites of each other. Such as a couple that hate each other or having an affair or a baby with someone else. Randomize their traits and lifetime wishes a little bit, you might be surprised on what comes out of it.

Jobs (based on expansion packs):
Acrobat
Magician
Singer
Video game developer
Art appraiser
Sports Agent

Interactions:

Generations-
Have imaginary friends
Have field trips in school
High school graduation (prom night)
Woohoo in the shower or a treehouse
Dating
Teen sims are able to drive if an adult sim teaches them to
Adults can have midlife crisis
Cloning sims
Afterschool activities
Child and teens may have dreams and get either a positive or negative moodlet when they wake up

University-
Streak
School cheer
Protest
Plant sims
Social networking
(there is probably more, but i cant recall the rest :/)

Showtime:
Set up your own stage for performance
DJ
Do gigs
Golfing
Dominoes
Sell albums
Big show performances
Create a venue
Woohoo at Photo Booth or box of mystery
Simport
Hire a sing-a-gram (via phone)
There's even lifetime happiness rewards if you click on the star. Certain rewards such as dusty old lamp which grants wishes for your sim, Honorary degree - sims who wants benefits of a degree without going to university can buy this reward, or Young Again potion, which is self explanatory.

Hope this helps. Have fun ;)

I need some Sims 3 family ideas?

Oh boy, this could go in so many directions... But lets give it a whirl, shall we?

Since i don't know what you've already tried, im just going to start spouting the idea's that come to mind without really thinking of trait combinations at the moment. That fun will be left to you, kind questioner!

Rockstar family, where the whole family tends to get together at the park and rock out, throws crazed wild parties and cares nothing for THE MAN!

The Ritzy Snobs, snotty brats for kids, high class parties with the best celebs in town

The Fat Lazy Slobs, living in the marshes of twinbrook, this cute little stain on american culture over indulges in their food intake, makes the children do all the chores, hires a maid, and the opposite sex partner is having an affair with them or constantly throwing remarks his/her way to no avail. Hoopty's and junk yard trash in the lawn.

The Simpsons, now while you surely couldn't acquire the looks of the simpsons without severe modding, im sure it would be fun to try a sim version of Bart and Homers failed relationship and a baby that NEVER GROWS UP!

The Emo family, who's crying about their woe's next? Let's be all dark and twisted, the world will never understand us.

The Artsy family, All loving life, love, paint and books! If you bring music into this, make sure its piano and maybe bass since the guitar and drums i don't think would give too much to an artsy family in this game. Its more rock and roll or country style for the most part. They have art gallery family trips and spend their time taking photo's of nature, painting pictures and writing books.

My family is a combo of the artsy/rock star family. I run a family of typically 6(Father, Son, both their wives, and each with a child) or more at a time, currently at 8 since both spouses have currently recently had children. It doesn't give me a whole lot of time to indulge in all the finer things in the sims life like travel, i'm always wondering who needs to pee next, or who's feeling left out LOL, But its fun to me.

I hope i've given you at least SOME idea's

What should I do when I run out of ideas in The Sims 4?

Thanks for the A2A! To be honest I don’t feel like I run out of ideas that often. I have a save with two extended and intertwining families (it’s almost a soap opera!) and I rotate play between the different households. They have different careers, some have kids, some are single and out on the town, some meet and start a relationship (not that I force them to, mkay?). I have actually become attached to some of these Sims so their whereabouts keep me interested… most of the time. It’s true that one does have to pep the game up a bit once in a while. Apart from starting a challenge, which is a good idea, what I do is play another save I’m not so, erm… emotionally invested in, so I can experiment more. Sometimes doing “bad” things is fun. Maybe I will start a dysfunctional family where both parents have very bad traits and maybe another nice relative, and see what goes from there. Or give a neat Sim a slob lazy roommate. Or a snob materialistic Sim a house with cheap and ugly furniture and keep them poor. You can also do nice things like household that makes a living from farming and fishing (or beekeeping if you have Seasons) or your Sim can be a self-employed painter or writer. If you have expansion packs there’s other interesting things like running a vet clinic or a restaurant, being a doctor or a police officer, busking for tips or go treasure hunting in the jungle. And of course there’s mods that can make your game more interesting and “alive”. Littlemssam has plenty of awesome ones, my favourite is the home business mod, where your Sim can operate a café, bar, daycare or yoga center on their home lot. The SimDa dating app mod is also pretty cool if you want your Sim to go on a string of blind dates, and there’s many more. I also love NoelleBellefleur’s work from home mods, where you control your Sim’s workday instead of just having them disappear. Zerbu also has some really cool mods… can’t find the link but he’s on Tumblr.Speaking of which, if you don’t have one already I would recommend you to have a Tumblr just for The Sims (aka a Simblr), engaging in the community is definitely one of the nice things about The Sims. The bottom line is to create unique Sims and explore all their possibilities. And always add something (even something a little bad) to twist your game, picture-perfect households get boring after a while.

Marshall family - Sims 3 pets?

It's their star signs, which are not compatible. EA did purposely make them that way. It is hard to make their relationship high enough to 'try for baby' too often. Usually it's the husband that will back down from romance and lose the relationship points. Although he is a 'great kisser', he is also 'unflirty', and gets turned off easily which makes their relationship go down quickly. Another thing EA did was make them older, so there is not much time before they become elders. Elders cannot have babies.

It is possible to do though. The chances are lower than with other couples, but if you can get them to 'irresistible', they will 'try for baby'. The more often you can do that, the better the chances of pregnancy will be. It can happen on the first try, or the third, etc. EA can't stop that from happening but it will happen just out of the blue, so keep trying before their time runs out, and good luck!

Here is a list of last names from the US census:

I don't think you'll run out of new names any time soon.

Sims 3 supernatural Ideas?

Ok, I had some Ideas for sims 3 supernatural for when it comes out and i just thought I would share them.

1. Zombie Apocolyse

So you would choose somewhere that already looks run down like Twinbrook and delete all the buildings, except a few houses that look run down. SO you would make a TON of zombie families and have them live on empty lots with dead bushes, fog, dry grass, brambles (buydebug cheat lets you do fog and stuff) but since there is no building on the lot it would seem as if they just roam around the city. And then you create like 2 or 3 families and put them in houses away from town like around the swamps and basically you have to survive all the zombie attacks and live by harvesting crops and fishing. But you cant really stay out too long because they might attck you. LOL

2.Genfairghozomvampwolf

Basically you try to make a baby that has a little bit of every supernatural beings. I do not know if this will work because the game hasnt come out yet so I dont know if all of them can produce babies. Here is how it goes:

Vampire + Werewolf = Vampwolf
Vampwolf + Zombie = zomvampwolf
Zomvampwolf + Ghost fairy (fairy that died) = fairghozomvampwolf
Genie (Showtime) + fairghozomvampwolf = genfairghozamvampwolf

Thats it!
Thanks,
Zoe

Is sims 3 fun? (for people with sims 3 only)?

Well it really is quite fun. If you liked the Sims 2, then got bored of it, then the Sims 3 should really be interesting for you. The jobs are heaps cool, you can choose what you want to do, like suck up to your boss and stuff, and each job has differnt options.

The traits are also really fun, and you can make heaps of money just by writing a lot of books.

So I'd say buy it, it really is a good game.

Which is better :Sims 3 or Sins 2?

Many aspects of Sims 2 and Sims 3 are the same. Even some of the animations for S3 are recycled from S2.

The main differences Sims 3 allows you to view and interact with the entire neighborhood without having to exit the household and wait for the game to load as you have to in Sims 2. You can also see your sim driving to their location in Sims 3 as oppose to Sims 2 (S2 they just pull out from the driveway and exit off screen)

One thing I like in Sims 2 is that the game seems to be more detail oriented and smoother with some animations, such as a sim opening the door to getting into their car, walking more realistically up and down stairs, and etc.

As for your questions, yes, in S3 you can control your sims in the city. You can actually zoom out, choose your destination in the city, and then watch your sims drive there.
You can have more than one family in a neighborhood and have them interact in the city. You may even see them at the store or our fishing or doing other random things or get them all together for a party.

It took me a long time to transition from S2 to S3, and though there are some things I wish S3 had from S2, I don't think I'll be going back to Sims 2.
