Russia How Do You Feel Towards The Romanov Children

How do the Russians now feel about the Romanovs?

They are considered as victims of revolution and civil war, but not the only ones. Most of Russians don't think about them as about something "extraordinary".
Yes, Russia was in better economic condition than before, but 1905, WWI, officially free, but de facto still serf peasants (read "most part of population of the country") etc... Revolutions and civil wars don't take place in prosperous countries.

What do Russians think of the Romanovs?

Those who are interested in history of their country think about the Romanovs in the light of their contributions to the rise or fall of Russia. Each of the tzars is usually judged on individual merit, based on how he or she done to maintain and strengthen Russia, so while there is an awareness that the Romanovs had ruled Russia for over 300 years, there is no single opinion about the whole dynasty. There were great emperors that had built the Russian Empire and expanded its standing in the world (together with the territory) and then there were those unfortunate “tzars” that sat on the throne only because of their genetic relationship to the ruling family. Russians think about each Romanov differently, and on top of it, there are different opinions that Russians have on each Romanov. Additionally starting with Paul I they probably were no longer Romanovs anyway, since Catherine had hinted in her diary that her son Paul’s natural father is not her husband Peter III.In my opinion among the great Romanovs are Peter the Great, Elizabeth I, Catherine II the Great, Alexander II and Alexander III.Bad Romanovs include Nicolas II (the last tzar), Paul I (many people would probably disagree with me on this) and Peter III.

How did the tsar family in russia die?

They were imprisoned in the Ipatieff House and then executed by firing squad.

What do Russian people think about four sisters of the last Romanov family?

According to author Robert K. Massie (Nicholas and Alexandra, Peter the Great, The Romanovs: the Final Chapter), some Russians are ashamed that underage children of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra were murdered along with their parents. But after being indoctrinated with anti-royal propaganda for a century, I would expect that the Russian people regard the Grand Duchesses and the Tsarevich as little more than collateral damage in the revolution.

Are there any people alive today who are related to the Romanov's?

Plenty. Many Romanov cousins of the immediate imperial family escaped Russia, and their descendants live all over world. Some are here in the U.S.

One woman in Greece, a desdendant of Tsar Nicholas's sister Xenia, was one of the people who provided blood for the DNA tests that were used to identify the bones of the Tsar and his family. Prince Philip of the U.K. is also a relative.

The current head of the Romanov Family Association is Prince Nicholas Romanov, who lives in Switzerland and Italy.

Alaric, Nicholas's brother George predeceased him. Michael was killed by the Bolsheviks.

Did the Romanov's get what they deserve?

NO
Nobody should have there children slayen!!!
This was a coup, an over-throw of the Empire. To seize power, in such a way, the dictator uses the eliment of surprise, to triple the chances of success. A force, to cripple the present power into submission, with fear and complete domination. This family were the 'fall-guy.' Targeted and ruthlessly slaughtered to end the Dynasty.
Curses are of the occult, that isn't good, either.
(Revenge, although that isn't the scenario here, is ill considered, there are far more intelligent, respectful and humane ways to resolve issues. Even with the enemy! ) Power is prone to corruption and abuse.
These were heady, decadent times. The Russian class system had extremes. The grand culture and education was supreme, ...for a priveledged few.
Meanwhile, Lenin was preparing for a revolution. A great many people were desparing in poverty.
I 'm sorry I don't know the Rominov family's connection with superstition to answer.

Grigory Rasputin predicted this, along with his own death, maybe?
Rasputin was a manipulator, meddler and Alexandra's closest advisor. His influence over the Tzarina compromised the Imperial Govt.
On New Years Eve, 1906, Prince Yussoupov, and accomplices, poisoned the monk. Such menice Rasputin oozed, they shot him and drowned him, also.
Rasputin had been aware of his impending doom, for some time and had a letter delivered to the Tzar, in such an event.

" I write and leave behind me this letter at St Petersburg. I feel that I shall leave this life before Jan. 1.....
You Tzar of Russia....
if it was you or your relations who have wrought my death, then none in the family, that is to say, none of your children or relations, will remain alive for more than two years. They will be killed by the Russian people....
You must reflect and act prudently. Think of your safety and tell your relations that I have paid for them with my blood. I shall be killed. I am no longer amoung the living.
pray, pray and be strong,
think of your blessed family,
Grigory"

Two months after recieving this letter, the Rominov Family was held captive and murdered by the Boshavics.
Rasputin had no affiliation with Lenin or the Revolutionists.

What do Russians think of the execution of Tsar Nicholas II?

From humane point of view, it’s an insanely cruel murder of innocent people. With no trial and hiding of the bodies. From political and historical point of view, Russians had murdered a ruler that really loved the country and the people and wanted to move forward by gradually giving citizens more rights and responsibilities. He didn’t want to use terror in respons to revolts and that was his mistake. After he was pushed away and murdered Russia have received rulers that it deserved. Lenin and Stalin. They began an unprecedented terror killing millions of people, and threw the country back by removing basic citizen rights — of property, independent courts, of freedom to choose a place to live and leaving the country. We all have payed a lot for that murder.
