Staying in england or going to russia?
It is your personal choice. If you truly love and miss Russia (meaning your family, russian friends, food etc.), why not to come back home, even go to army and start your life in your motherland. I guess you are a smart educated person knowing English, so you will have no problems finding a job. And though people say about economy and crisis alot, it depends on you and only you. If your job in London is really so good as you say, and there is a possibility to see your family, you can stay another year there until you Yourself understand what you want from life and where you want to live. As for me, I live in the USA as I got married and have a family here now, but I can't say that I am that lucky having a very good job. Cause here getting 1000 a month is not big money. When russian people consider this money as good, they are still thinking about this money spending in Russia. But when you live here and need to pay for alot of things, it is just trying to survive.
Russians: What do you think of us Canadians?
I am thinking going to Russia during Summer and I wanted to know what do you guys think of Canadians. Do you hate us, like us, not sure, think we're silly, etc? Also, since it's months away, do I need to learn Russian or you guys don't mind if I speak English? I don't want to look rude having you to speak English to me. *I asked the same but not many people answered, and most of them are trolls.
Stereotype that russian girls are gold diggers?
Nobody likes to be stereotyped. The media is expert at it. But even without hollywood or the media, people tend to stereo type anyway. Italians beat their wives, Irish can't live without booze, Poles are stupid, Russians are gold diggers, Muslims are terrorists, the list is endless. All that exists WITHOUT bad movies or bad media. It's sad, but that's the way people are. I have no idea how it all starts or how it can be iliminated. Good Luck, you posed a good question and deserve a star.
I am a black and my boyfriend is russian ,will i be okay if i visit russia?
well, russians mostly dislike the "black southerners" from the caucasus region. they were long-time fruit sellers during communist times and have a reputation for sly trading and selling. they are white people, arabic, so somewhat dark skinned. black to a milk-white russian. as far as AFRICAN black people, i have seen many is moscow. it is almosy a guarantee they speak english (as well as russian AND their mother-tongue), and are going to medical college. being african american won't be a problem for you. of course don't ask for trouble by frequenting the areas known for skinheads, especially at night. i have walked many districts alone at night in moscow, always feeling safe. with your boyfriend, all should be good. have fun in russia. (if your boyfriend wants to go by train somewhere for 30 or 40 hours or more, do i! it is not horrible to travel such distances!! even our 7 year old loves it) it is VERY different from usa. that is what makes it great to travel- see the DIFFERENCES in peoples, cities, lifestyles, and just about everything else!
Why are there so many Russian male ballroom dancers?
Seriously, it's a culture thing. Ballet is a big thing in Russia. If a guy did NOT dance ballet, people would think is something "wrong" with him. If he played football then he might be seen as "gay" or something. In America is just the opposite. The term "gay" in America was associated with ballet in the 1980's during the Cold War with the Soviet Union (including Russia), it was an American political campaign to create negative slurs and ideals for Russian ideals, including incorporating ballet as something "gay". The Cold War is over now, move on.
