If I'm thinking about the same cases you're thinking of, you probably saw them in dramas like Heirs, right? The only phones with cases that have capabilities like that are Samsung Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 (maybe earlier versions for both these phones too). Can I fit the Galaxy Note 3's back cover on my Note 3 Neo? Do they have equal dimensions?
Practically as well as theoretically it's not possible to fit back cover of note 3 onto note 3 neo or vice versa. Firstly, screen size are different so are dimensions, Galaxy Note 3 stands at 5.7inch and 5.5inch for Galaxy Note 3 neo. Secondly, camera mould of both of the devices is totally different hence not possible.—Happy multitasking
