Taking that many and if the person taking them could keep them down could cause a whole slew of problems.First there would be the extreme anti -coagulation that would occur. It would cause the person overdosing to bleed from just about everywhere. Their GI tract , from their nose, ears etc. The danger would come from the the increased risk of a hemorrhagic stroke due to a brain bleed.2. That much ibuprofen will breakdown into metabolites that can injure the kidneys ultimately resulting in acute renal failure!3. The same mechanism by which ibuprofen inhibits the enzymes involved in inflammation causes inhibition of the Cox enzyme in the lining of the stomach and other parts of the GI tract where the Cox enzyme helps produce a protective layer that coats the stomach and GI tract preventing irritation.
