HTC Wildfire S vs Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830?

What a coincidence because I've been checking out these two phones recently, and I've decided to go with the htc wildfire s because I've got a friend who had galaxy ace and said it was rather laggy and crappy. The camera quality is actually quite bad too, I seen it with my own eyes though.

But the only concern abt wildfire s is it's processor, and I'm unsure whether it is able to save apps on sd card. But after seeing a YouTube video that compares the processor speed of wildfire s and desire s, I would say its not as laggy as they say and is actually quite decent. So yup go for the htc wildfire s, cos I'm gunna get one too next month! And I was once considering bat the curve 9300 but srsly the camera is only 2 mp so might swell get the wildfire s right? Oh and btw htc wildfire s there is the purple one which I thought looked nice. But well since there's only black and white for your country, I suggest getting the black one because it looks nicer with colored phone covers!

Hope I helped.

Btw do u mind telling me abt the sd card thing like whether u can transfer apps to your sd card after you've bought the wildfire s,I mean if you're gunna buy one? Thanks loads!

@avi I do know OKAY, i did my research but just that some people said that there are ISSUES with moving apps onto the sd card. I just wanna know ONLY.

oh and btw galaxy ace's is running 2.2 android NOT 2.3. YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE it to 2.3 yourself.

Go for the htc, not saying that ace is bad, but just go for the htc. :-D

I am facing Network Connection Problem with Samsung Galaxy J2.  Every time I need to restart my phone to fix that issue. Did anybody have resolution for this?

I don’t think there’s any major issue from your network provider’s side. I’ve a SG-J5 and mine disconnects from internet in every 3–4 mins. The network connectivity is very good here & other mobile phones run well with the same network/career. This can roughly be a hardware defect. When it was new it worked fine, but things went worse when I opted an OTA security update. Here’s what I can suggest you :-If you recently have updated your firmware or installed any updates OTA, try Factory Reset. And kindly report back if it works for you. This I think is a bit difficult. You need to bake a new kernel for your device (but yes need to be a linux kernel dev :\ . Even such a professional will think twice before giving it a go. However, if you are still interested, you can google the Kernel Source for your device & fetch them & bake a new one.) If you’ll be very lucky, you’ll only need to reconfigure the radio module.Remove the back panel of your device. Restart your device and leave the back of your phone bare naked. Don’t attach the panel. Now play with your device, and report back if it works for you.Try changing the Network Operator from Select Automatically to Manual. If doesn’t work, stick with Select Automatically. Try with different Network Modes, & the one which works for you.Try your sim card in other mobile phone. If same issue occurs there, then it’s definitetly a problem at network side. But if it works well, then unfortunately you’ll have to follow the step 5.Best choice will be to call a Service Center & follow the procedure. They’ll most likely replace the motherboard of your device.Tinkering directly with the firmware of your device can void the warranty of your device. I’ll not be responsible for it. I’ll not be resposible for any damages you may inflict upon your li’l smartphone while following the suggestions I’ve written.P.S. - Factory Reset didn’t work for me. Imagine network disconnectivity every 3–4 mins. :|

What are the two camera like dots on the top FRONT side of Samsung Galaxy Y ?

One is the light sensor, when your phone is on auto brightness it uses that sensor to determine how much light is being sensed by the sensor to determine what the ideal brightness for that situation is.
The other one is the proximity sensor. when you call someone and put the phone to your face, the screen will turn off automatically because that sensor can tell that there is something close by and the screen then shuts off (to prevent accidental cheek pressing) try out by calling someone then placing your finger on the sensors :P
Every smartphone has these 2 sensors on the front.

How do I fix a camera stuck on selfie mode? There are no icons to change to back camera or flash. It’s stuck on HDR. The flashlight is not working. I'm not sure what else is not working.

Go to the settings>apps>camera>clear cache and reboot your device mostly the problem will go away.Otherwise you can install the manual camera apk and test your device camera hardware for the defects.

Can hackers turn on the front/back camera of my phone or tablet stealthily without my knowledge?

Yes and no.While currently there are no security bugs in Android or iOs which would permit an attacker to switch on your camera remotely, there are two attack vectors to archive the same result:The classic trojan horse or other, similar malware where an attacker gains full control over your device and thus all attached hardware. The more recent and much more wicked attack is to get the user to allow this to happen.Just recently there was a story about an alleged encryption software for android which:did not encrypt more than the file headertook photos of the user each time. The app demanded the permission to use the camera of the phone, and apparently not many wondered why a crypto app would need access to the camera, so they granted this permission.Since apps are allowed to run as background processes, nothing would stop an attacker from taking pictures periodically and uploading them to a server of his choosing.App in question is NQ Vault. So while it is between difficult to impossible for a hacker to do this stealthily and completely without your knowledge, there still are ways to archive this goal with less direct methods.

When I try to listen to audio on a WhatsApp voice note, the screen goes black, the sound comes from the earpiece and I can’t hear it through the speakers. How do I fix it?

Looks like there is a problem with the proximity sensor. Whenever you are hearing an audio message on WhatsApp, and if the the proximity sensor is blocked, the following symptoms as said by you occur. The fix is to unblock the proximity sensor, to get proper audio through the main speakers and also prevent screen from going blank.
