Samsung Galaxy S3 Headphone Jack Problem

Galaxy S3 headphone jack problem?

That's not the problem of your earphone jack, it;s the problem of your earphones. They are damaged. Try other earphones and i guarantee you that they will work properly with the both speakers.

Hope this helps :)

Galaxy S3 headphone jack size?

Is it 3.5mm or is it some oddball size? I want to get a Galaxy S3 but I'm going to want to listen to music on headphones and weird headphone things are weird... anyway, is it like the normal size? Thanks! <3

Will removing the headphone jack from the Samsung's Galaxy range help or hinder sales in the Samsung vs Apple debate or just fuel outside competition?

Why would removing a feature that has no negatives make people buy something for the same price?Apple claimed waterproofing is a huge issue but other manufacturers had no problems making a waterproof headphone jack. Space isn’t an issue - Apple removed the jack AND the home button but didn’t increase the battery - instead they just put in a much larger vibration module.Maybe the effect will be near zero and overshadowed by other great features but only on it’s own it would definitely reduce sales.I know I won’t buy a phone without a headphone jack for at least a few more years as I cannot find any acceptable wireless earbud (inn-ears hurt my ears).

Do Skullcandy headphones work with the Samsung Galaxy S3? How?

Yes.Just connect the headphone to S3 via the 3.5mm jack, it's works..! Magic..!

Headphones Volume control doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S3 .?

I need more information. Do you mean the volume control on your headphones, or the buttons built into the side of the phone?
If you're talking about the buttons on your headphones, it depends on which music player you're using. I use PowerAmp which has options to allow the use of external buttons

If you're talking about the buttons on the side of the phone, if you're not in the music player when you press the button, it will change the call volume, not the media (music) volume. When the popup appears, click the grear icon and move the media slider.

You need to be more clear if you want a valid answer. You're not giving anyone a lot of information.

Samsung Galaxy S3 won't play music through earphones?

It sounds like many people have the same issue with the SIII. A couple fixes seen in forums:

- Close out the program completely and restart it with headphones plugged in.
- Reboot the device with the headphones plugged in.
- Using Samsung Galaxy specific headphones.

I can relate. My laptop audio is set to a specific device once an application is opened. For example, once I have opened Google Chrome with headphones plugged in, only those headphones will play audio until the program is restarted without the headphones in. The problem with both of our computers could be that the audio isn't being switched automatically when a device is plugged/unplugged.

Best of luck!

How to get a broken headphone jack out of my phone?

So my friend stick in her headphones into my phone then when she took them out the part you plug into your phone is broken off and stuck in my phone. Idk how stuck it is but I really need to get it out. My phone is a Samsung galaxy s3 and I can barely stick the tweezers into the plugin. I need help fast.

The sound on my Samsung Galaxy S isn't working?

The sound on the phone doesn't work when I plug in my headphones. Its all fuzzy and weird sounding, but it always worked before. It works fine when I don't have headphones plugged in. I've tried rebooting my system and that didn't work. Has this happened to anyone else? or do I have to bury Ol' Vibrant finally and get a phone from this millennium? XD

Why is the charging port of samsung galaxy s5 is different? If we charge it with different charger e.g. Note 2 charger, will there be any problem?

Dear Junaid!S5 is the most feature rich smartphone I have ever seen and had the pleasure of owning! The Samsung Galaxy S5 has an USB 3.0 port which facilitates 10 times faster data rates than the conventional ports! These are used and can be seen in high speed portable devices and hardisks !It also charges your s5 2 times faster when you charge it from a USB 3.0 port with a USB 3.0 cable! The USB 3.0 port is backward compatible. So there should be no problems charging with the regular mirco USB chargers like that of a NOTE 2!cheers!
