HELP! Samsung Galaxy S3, Black screen! ?
Hello i have done some research for you and your gonna wanna hold the home button, down volume button, and the power button at the same time... your phone has to be plugged into the computer well doing this because it will automatically set your phone into download mode!! good luck this might only work on Galaxy S but give it a try that is all i could find :)

Don’t use this. Odin is not guaranteed to work, and your software is wrong for S3. That’s an S3 Plus firmware you have.Download Samsung Kies, install and open, go to the “tools “ menu in the top of the window, select “emergency recovery” type in your Serial Number . (you can find it under the battery pack)Re-install the battery in your phone, and boot it in recovery mode. When you re-connect your phone in recovery mode, go back to Kies and start the emergency recovery.This method is fool-proof, and can’t fail because Kies will give you the newest Firmware that fits your phone.You may lose Root/Bootloaders while doing it, but after it’s done you can unlock and root as usual again.If you need more details, comment my answer and I’l gladly help out.
Hard reset a Samsung Galaxy S3?
Hi, Can you try these two things: Turning phone off, Pressing the home and volume up buttons and hold them. Well holding them, press and hold the power button till the screen turns on. That should boot it fi recovery mode. If that doesn't work, try doing the same, but with the volume down key instead of volume up, that should boot it to download mode. If you manage to boot to recovery, select wipe data, and select yes. If you can boot to download mode, its a little more complicated. But if you Google "flash ROM Odin galaxy s3" you should find lots of guides. If the basic system apps are missing, I think the guy must have rooted the device (gained access to the system files,). If that's the case, the second option above is the only way to restore them. If none of the above work, I think the phone must be broken (hence the good deal ). Where is the "microphone hole" on the Samsung Galaxy S3?
I have been having problems with my microphone on this new, 18 day old Samsung Galaxy S3 of mine. It was working fine, but now when I call people or they call me, nobody can hear me even if I yell into the phone.. they just hear static. I don't have a warranty on it and the company I bought it from won't accept returns after 15 days. I am really upset as it is an expensive phone and I just bought it and have done nothing to it... I don't want to pay a fortune for repairs. I read somewhere that others were having the same problem, and simply used a needle to clean out the microphone hole. I'd like to try this but can't find the microphone hole anywhere? Maybe it's just me, but I just don't see it. Help??
