Samsung Galaxy S3 Losing Power While Charging

My Samsung Galaxy J5 takes too long to charge. What is the problem?

There could be numerous reason for that1) Bad Power adapter 2) Bad USB cable 3) Bad battery 4) Bug in operating system (this is rare case scenario though)5) Not genuine USB cable or power adapter (Try to use OEM power adapter and USB cable or similar to your battery's power configuration)To troubleshoot it Use power adapter and USB cable of someone else typically of same mAh battery's power adapter and USB cable try 2-3 more variation of power adapter and USB cable if problem persist problem could be of battery if you have removable battery check if there is any bulge on battery if you don't have removable battery maybe you will need to replace the battery.

IPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Lumia 900? What phone should I get?

I'm going to get a new phone soon. I've been a iPhone user for about 4 years now. I like galaxy s3 and the lumia 900 but I'm afraid I'll lose all my apps and music I bought from iTunes and the apple store. Anyway, what phone do you think would be the most suitable for me? Also, can you tell me what each phone is good for? (ex. texting, Facebook, etc.)

Samsung galaxy S3 vs LG Prada 3.0 vs Nokia Lumia 900?

specs wise, s3 wins over the rest. But what do you think you would want? Which one would you prefer, according your budget, and is it a necessity or an accessory? ^_________^

Or is there any other phone you'd rather go for??

Why is my phone charger draining my battery?

If it is the original charger that came with the phone, then the charger might be faulty or the current is not enough. If the phone is old, then the battery is on it’s way to the grave. Buy yoursef a 5 volt 2.1 amp output usb/wall charger, that will solve any amp current problems. I recommend MP charger from streatham high road sw16.Ps. A charger does not drain a battery, any charge in a battery can be slowly lost when a charger is off and the + is attached to a circuit.Update: 08/04/2019. When a battery gets old and you are online with the screen on the battery will slowly lose charge because the phone is taking more current than the charger and battery can supply to charge and operate the phone at the same time. This happens to my phone and I have 2.4Ah battery. If you plug in a higher amp charger the problem should be solved. Minimum should be 1Amp charging current.Robert.

My phone charges really slowly, and then loses battery fast. Why?

Check if there's any misbehaving apps running in the background and eating up your battery. If there appears to be no concern in this area, try switching cords (if you use a USB with a power supply as your charger, switch out both the cord AND power supply, then try using a different cord with the same power supply to see if one is causing the issue). If none of that changes anything, try a new battery. Mind you, smartphones are battery hogs, so i don't know what you mean by "wicked fast". That can mean anything from 15 minutes to 4 hours to me. Also, some apps pull more battery life than others, like Pandora. If after all this, it comes down to everything is functioning fine but you just don't like the battery life the phone provides, invest in an expanded battery with a door to fit it. Your phone will be larger but will last far longer. EDIT: Doesn't matter how new the phone is, who knows how long the battery sat there before they popped it into a phone. Or it could even be a bad battery.

Does charging my cell phone through my laptop decrease its battery life?

It is the same exact thing.

You will not harm your cell phone. You are only borrowing battery power from your laptop. Neither device will be effected - however - hooking your phone up to your laptop will cause the laptop's battery life to go down faster than it would if you didn't have the phone hooked up to it. But as soon as you disconnect the phone from the laptop - your computer will be able to hold its battery life longer because nothing else is drawing it out..
