If your period was due around the time you had sex, its likely that you aren't pregnant, since most women ovulate(drop their eggs, the only real time to get pregnant) around 14 days before/after the first day of their period(though some women ovulate more ofter or at different times). Wait 14-16 days after the initial act of sex and then take a test. It can take up to a week for the sperm and egg to meet and fertilize and implant, and another week for there to be enough hormones present to get a positive on a pregnancy test. From now on you should write down when your period so you know when you are late and such, since that will help you out in situations like this. Also, there is a possibility of pregnancy with any sexual intercourse, and a much higher one if he put himself back in you with *** on him, so it is very likely that if you were ovulating, that you could be pregnant, but since it was so close to when you were supposed to have your period(or so it seems....) you are probably safe. Also, stress can make you skip your period, or make it late, so if you are way stressed out, then that may be why you are late. that happened to me once, I was about a week late after having unprotected sex and was worried I was pregnant(though I was 18, in a relationship and we wanted a kid, I was just scared because it would be a whole new thing and kinda scary) and the day after I took the test and it came out negative, I started my period. 17...took plan B, scared I might be pregnant?
Alright, as I said i am only 17, and i made a very dumb mistake and I realize that. I had sex at like 1 am on Saturday (so yesterday), and I took plan B around 10 am that same day. No condom, but i couldn't tell if he ejaculated inside me or not, i know he did on my stomach but i couldn't tell if he did inside or just pulled out a while before.My period has been very irregular lately. I had it Dec 17 and then none in Jan. then the week of Feb 22. I think i may have ovulated a couple days before i had sex, but i don't know, and I think i would be due this week. But ever since I took plan B I had to pee a lot that day, and didn't really want to eat, people made me and so i did. Today I didn't have to pee that much but i have abdominal pains and the front of my thighs and shins are sore like i pulled muscles. is this normal? I am freaking out, I have college after summer and soo many plans. I don't want to have this and sorry if that offends people. Please help, I am freaking out. And I did tell my mom and a friend and my mom got me that pill and she doesn't know I am freaking out about it. I just need some reassurance or something.

Okay, so I'm only posting this because I'm afraid for my friend and really would like some answers! She and her boyfriend had sex twice...I dunno about a month ago. 20-25 days maybe. He used a condom the first time and the second time he didn't. My friend got her period a week or so after, and I've heard of people having their period while being pregnant so.... She's around the time to be getting her period now and she doesn't know if she'll get it or not and she tried to take a pregnancy test but she didn't do it right or something and so now I'm a little worried. What will happen if she is? Not body wise, but legally. I know it's against the law for people under 18 to have sex and I learned in health class that you can have to serve up to 150 hours of community service with your parents because of it or something like that. But if she ends up being pregnant and she decides to have the baby, what will the government do? What about the school? And if she gets an abortion, will they make her do a lot of legal work? I'm not to concerned about her choice because she's my best friend and I'll love her either way but I am concerned about what will happen after she makes that choice. Legal issues are on my mind right now, not much of the family issues. But those are big on my priority list too. I've been looking up complications in pregnancies and there are things listen like bone problems and it worries me that she is so young and small and might be pregnant. She's 14, going on 15 this month, and it about 100-110lbs. Only about 5'2". Maybe. I'm worried about if she decides to have the baby in question and her chance of surviving. those actions are not indications of pregnancy at that stage. However, if you had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago, and she is at her period time now, there is a chance she was ovulating when you had sex. So, yes, she could be pregnant from a medical aspect.... keep your eye on things and get some home pregnancy tests. Make sure before you freak out - and BE MORE CAREFUL! You are both WAY too young to be screwing around with possible pregnancies, no pun intended. If you cannot be responsible enough to always wear condoms (which are only 80-something% effective anyway), then also get her on the pill and use both. good luck,

No her breast tenderness is most unlikely to be from pregnancy. The reason is that it takes about that long for the egg and sperm to meet and then travel down the Fallopian tube to the uterus and implant. Only after implantation would the body begin altering hormone levels for pregnancy nd thus creating breast tenderness. It takes a bit of time for this to happen and rarely would such happen until she was already late for her period. This doesn't make it impossible just unlikely. The most likely explanation is pre-period breast tenderness. Now if she does not turn out ot be pregnant you two have got to begin using protection. Meaning either you use a condom or she gets some form of birth control - you two can go to planned parenthood if you don't want parents knowing. Withdrawal still leaves thousands of sperm inside her vagina as they leak before you climax. Yes, this is far better than the 600 million you normally ejaculate, but it only takes one to get her pregnant. Last you need to go the the library and get the book our bodies ourselves and read until you completely understand how the woman's reproductive cycle works - that way you will be informed and not do stupid things like have unprotected sex. Girlfriend is scared she might be pregnant, I need help comforting her?
Ok so me and my girlfriend had sex with a condom I pulled out, and she has her period in about two weeks. She is very very scared that she might be pregnant. She seemed to be acting stressed all week and I finally got her to tell me why and it's because of the thought of getting pregnant. Again her period is in two weeks and we will have no way of knowing until then. So here's my question: how do I comfort her and make her feel better right now? I was just on the phone with her and she cried and said she wanted to go to sleep. I really love her and she loves me by I just want to make her feel better Don't say "well tell her that you wore a condom and pulled out so there's no chance" because she was like "you got pre *** on the tip of the condom when you put it on backwards at first" we wiped that off though. Also no "we will get through this together" type stuff because I tried that and she was like " I don't want to be in this situation at all" So again how can I comfort her in these next two weeks before she knows for sure that she isn't when her period comes?

It's too early to panic... You used a condom, did you use mineral oil? Mineral oil can break a condom. If you didn't then you should be fine. Condoms are meant to catch and stop semen from you from entering her, it's okay to come in them, that's what they were made for. If having sex causes this much panic and worry then maybe you shouldn't be having sex? The earliest pregnancy test she can take would only work 14 days from now. Now if you are that worried you can tell her that you want her to get plan B at the pharmacy and you can pay for it. It costs usually around $50 if that would alleviate some stress for yourself. However, plan B will cause her period to go off schedule for the next 2 months, she also needs to eat a full meal before taking the medication as the complication of side-effects gets worse the more times you take it.
