What are the scariest movies ever made?
I am a horror and thriller fan. I watch a lot of them. But for me the scariest movie is not a horror.You’ve probably heard the song One by Metallica. If you’ve seen the music clip you see they used clips from a film in the video. Because I am a curious guy I looked up the movie “Johnny Got His Gun”The movie, much like the metallica song, tells the story of a young soldier in world war 1 that gets hit by an artillery shell. He wakes up in the hospital a quadruple amputee who has also lost his eyes, ears, mouth and nose. He lost 4 of his 5 senses and the ability to move. He remains conscious and able to reason, but his wounds render him a prisoner in his own body. The movie is about him thinking, remembering his life before the war. After years he learns to communicate, using morse code. He asked to be shown to the public so people know the horrors of war. When they deny him that, he begs to be euthanized, which he is also denied. He has to stay the remainder of his life a prisoner of his own body. He can’t see, hear, speak, taste, move. He’s all alone.That is the scariest movie I’ve ever seen.

I love scary movies,i also think that potrolgiest (have no idea how to spell it) it freaks me out when the clown trys to choke the little boy or when the dads in the bathroom washing his face and all his skin comes off that movie is freaky i saw it like 3 times!
Scariest movies you have ever seen?
I am a horror movie buff and I am looking for a scary movie to watch. And I don't want movies like "saw" where the only scare factor is gore and jump factor, I want movies that psychologically tear you apart and give you shivers. For example, the scariest movies in my opinion are: The Strangers Sinister The Exorcist The Shining Silent Hill I want movies that are disturbing and intriguing, but I don't want movies that are just gore.

Coraline -- One of the scariest movies ever?
I'm no stranger to horror / scary movies - I got through the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series and Silence of the Lambs series and Scream series just fine. I thought The Ring and Blair Witch Project were stupid and not scary. I've seen most of the well-known scary movies out there. But last night I saw Coraline in 3D. Though it didn't have any blood or gore, it frightened me on a level like no other movie has. The Other Mother creeped me out like all hell from the first moment I saw her. IMO she put the Joker and Hannibal Lecter to shame. I'm curious about your reactions.

I'm having a small halloween party, basically just a group of friends, some movies, beer, and a sh** load of junk food. Horror is my genre of movies so I probly could handle it myself, but somebody might've seen something good that I haven't so... What's your favorite horror flick?
