How to delete tag search history on Tumblr?
I have a MacBook Pro so I use Safari. But on Tumblr whenever I want to search a new tag it always fills it in with an old search. I want to delete all my old tag searches. i have tried emptying my cache but that didn't help and I haven't seen the delete history thing that people say should be there. So most of the results that you see will be related to Apple products.On the contrary, if your type in Apple +fruit, Google considers this as you want to include results for fruit in your search and hence most of the results will be about the fruit apple.When searching for something on Google, we often use a hyphen (- looks exactly like a minus sign) to indicate something we want to be included. How does one clear search type-ahead results in Facebook?
This question is how I found Quora. I was dissappointed to find that it is not actually answered here, but since then I've found out some information.There is no way to clear the type-ahead guesses in the new facebook graph search. Several people have asked on facebook and their tech support people have said there is no way to do it. The typeahead guesses are apparently not stored on your local machine, as they are independent of browser and location. Therefore, clearing cookies and search histories will not do it. Nor will clearing your search history on facebook.The only way to get rid of those embarrassing pages you clicked on once is to fill up your database with newer searches, and hope that the old ones eventually expire. And hope that facebook puts in a way to clear it in the future.
