Seeking Eurorail Feedback - Does It Cover All Trains Easy To Use Worth The Money

Backpacking through Europe? Cost? Helpful Information? Anything?!?

I'm considering backpacking through Europe, however, I really can't seem to figure out how much it will cost? Backpacking your way is supposidly the most economical way of doing this - but a month seems like it might cost me an arm and a leg.

I would like to travel to these cities:

London
Paris
Amsterdam
Berlin
Prague
innsbruck (or somewhere in the Alps)
Venice
Rome
Naples
Barcelona
Madrid

Any info on backpacking would be helpful actually! Thanks!

How much might a 15-17 day backpacking trip to Europe from India cost? Is there anyone from India who has done it and can help me picture a rough idea about the total budget?

I travelled on a 8 day trip to France, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands. Honestly I had a budget of somewhere around 1.25 lakhs for the entire trip. But believe me it depends from person to person. below is the itinerary and the expenditure of my trip.Visa Cost: 7500 RsInsurance cost: approx 1000 Rsbooked my flight tickets on 16th May for the departure on 18th May. Delhi to brussels to Delhi for 32500 Rs/-stayed for 2 nights in Amsterdam at hansbrinker Hostel. 6 Bed mixed Dorm for 22 Euros. for 2 nights 44 Euros.Stayed for a night in Cologne at Hostel downtown. 6 Bed mixed Dorm for 28 Euros.Stayed at 2 nights in Meininger Hotels in Brussels. 6 Bed mixed dorm for 17 euros a night. for 2 nights 34 euros.Stayed in Paris for a night for 21 Euros.total cost of stay: 127 Euros ( 9200 Rs)Inter Country Travel: See this depends on the country you are visiting and how far it is. Like I started my trip from Amsterdam to Cologne to Brussels to Paris to Brussels. I had an option of taking either a bus, or a flight or a train. Bus being the cheapest took me approximately 3–3.5 hours to reach the destination and the average price was 15 euros for a ride. I spent around 85 Euros for entire travel on Bus. I would suggest download Flixbus app as well as Goeuro App for cheaper deals.Total Inter country Travel: 85 Euros Approx (6200) rsIntercity Travel: you always have an option of taking a tram or a bus or a metro. I personally took a day pass in Amsterdam for Tram. It costed me around 7.5 Euros but was worth it. Per me average cost would have been 12–13 euros.total travelling cost: 100 Euros ( 7200 Rs)Total Cost= Travelling+ stay+ Flight+intercity travel+visa+ insurance= Approx 70KPlease note: Every good Hostel you opt for has free walking tours and believe they are totally worth it. Specially to know about the history and walk across to some really old and good bars for breaks.Shopping, Eating, and Drinks are something which can vary from person to person. Average Cost for a glass of Beer was around 1.5 Euros. Breakfast was 5 Euros/some hostels do provide free breakfast. Lunch- Dinner was roughly 8–10 Euros. My personal opinion- avoid Indian food in Europe. pathetic treatment is what you would end up getting and trust me you wont even want to comment on the food quality. try local cuisines and do your research on he foods and drink as well.My total trip Costed me around 94k including the Ola ride from Delhi airport to Noida during Peak hours :P

How much do I need for two weeks in Europe???

$ 600-800 if you are going on the cheap. i.e hostels etc.

Would sneaking weed from Amsterdam to Berlin, by train, cause problems?

Are you f*****in nuts? German cops give deep body cavity searches, and they would just love to get a hold of a naive little girl like you. Plus, the freedoms you enjoy as an American - like a lib judge taking pity on you - don't exist outside America. In other words, no one is gonna come to your rescue if you get busted. And no one is gonna give a rat's *** about your "rights."

By the way, does your mom know you are a pot head? You probably break her heart.

What is the cheapest way to travel from India to Europe?

If you're not an Indian citizen, the route can be done overland. In theory, the entire overland journey can be completed for free by hitch hiking or a combination of hitch-hiking and public transport if you are resourceful. This would involve a border crossing at Pakistan. Hence, being Indian poses a problem. Alternatively, one can fly to Sharjah (UAE), cross over to Iran by ferry and start the overland journey from Bandar Abbas Google MapsFerry Transport in Persian Gulf | Iran Traveling Center If you're white, people would be more than happy to give you free rides in Asia. At least outside of big cities. Not sure how it would be for an Indian but I guess it would be almost the same.Note: above travel times are indicative only. Naturally, you wouldn't be able to cover 3600 km in 1 day and 17 hours by road. You would have to pay for  visas, food and accommodation en route which would eventually add up to the price of a regular flight ticket anyway but an overland journey like this would be epic and far more enriching than sitting in a plane. That being said, flights into EU from India are really not that expensive these days. Normally the cheapest flights into EU from India are to Paris, Frankfurt and Madrid. A good deal would be around ₹ 30,000. These rates are not that hard to come across. The other way to do it is to keep tracking airfares on a near daily basis. I have seen flights into Spain from Mumbai for as low as Rs. 20,000 ($US 300) round-trip. But these are quite rare and very hard to come by and they disappear quickly. If your aim is to do it the cheapest possible way, you also need to be the most flexible with your plans. Here's an inspiring story: 111 days, 11 countries, 1 family | Condé Nast Traveller India

Easy Maths questions need help!?

(+4) + (-6) = -2 *imagine a number line where you start at -6 and move 4 spaces in the positive direction.

(+9) times (-2) =-18 * a positive times a negative is always negative.

the eurostar train takes around 20 minutes to cross the euro tunnel, which is 52km long. What is the trains average speed through the tunnel = take the total distance divide by the travel time. In this case 52 km/20 min = 2.6 km/min if you need km/hr then multiply by 60 min/hr = 156 km/hr

1/10 to the power of 4=(1/10 x 1/10 x 1/10 x 1/10) =1/10000

complete the pattern 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, ?, ?, (each number is doubled so the next in sequence would be 32 then 64)

simpifly d times 4 times c= 4dc ?? not sure exactly what it is asking.

Hugh slept for 10% of a one and a half hour flight from melbourne to Sydney. How long in minutes did Hugh spend sleeping? So, in 10% of 90 minutes is 9 minutes.

Solve for x. 5 + 4x = 3, 4x=-2, x=-1/2

expand g(2 - h)= 2g-gh

factorize 3st + 6 tu = 3t(s + 2u)

find the postive soultion for 8 to the power of two + 15 to the power of 2 = c to the power of 2, so 64 + 225 = c^2, 289=c^2, so c= sqrt of 289 which is 17

I hope this helps!

I need to send a letter to Ukraine?

A 1 oz letter will cost $0.90 from the US.

However, do not buy stamps for the envelope. Go directly to the post office with the letter in the envelope, and have them put one of their printed postage labels on it.

Ukrainian Post is iffy to start with, but adding a foreign stamp to it makes it more desirable for theft. The stamps are sought by Ukrainians because they do not get to see such stamps in Ukraine, and it draws attention to the fact that it came from the West... which often signifies "a relative sent them money"... again making it subject to theft.

I get about 3 of 4 letters there successfully by first class.

If it is important, send it Global Priority for $11. Then it has to be picked up at the Post in Ukraine.
