How do Chinese eBay sellers ship so cheaply across the world? Are they somehow scamming the HK or CN postal service, or are the rates disproportionately expensive in one direction only?
It has nothing to do with ships. The ePacket service offered by China Post and the USPS ships by air at ridiculously low prices. EBay and the USPS are helping China dump good in the US at subsidized prices. If you look at wholesale prices in China, they are pretty close to the eBay prices AFTER shipping for many items. I looked at ePacket for a friend in China who resells Chinese garments in Japan and would like to sell in the US. As far as I could tell, the government is subsidizing maybe $2 for eBay deals where the seller nets 50 cents and the manufacturer is making a buck. The airline doing the shipping is making a buck. Someone's got some powerful political influence or China's working some angle that I can't see.

When you are on that page, it gives you a drop down menu of all the US states and Canadian provinces. If you cannot proceed without filling in that field, the company is just not set up to ship outside of US or Canada. Try finding another amazon-site to order from, they have one in UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/ They will ship all over EU. .

I hardly ever sign up for email lists but I signed up for a particular company's email list then canceled later because they sent me too many emails. Since canceling I have been receiving similar emails from other companies. It no coincidence and I don't like that they shared my info after they said that they wouldn't share my info with any third party companies... So do I have a case???
Can i sue someone for selling me a salvage car and not tell me?
i brought a car in 2012 for 7200.00 from a personal owner . before I went to test drive the car I called and ask for the vin to run a car fax she gave me a vin# and I ran that when I ran that number it came back good. so I went to drive it and buy it. while exchanging the money I asked her was there anything or any problems that she need to disclose she said no it was a great car she needed to sell it because she needed the money for school. since I hade the car it has completely shut down on me 15 times so I got tired of putting money in it so I went to a dealership to trade it in when I got there they ran the vin number and it came back salvage.can I sue her for not disclosing that information.
Is it illegal to buy and resell candy at school (Canada)?
I'm 14 and I want to start my own little thing at school where I sell candy so I can have some extra cash. I'm planning on buying the candy in bulk at Costco and then selling it to kids at my school for a higher price for profit. Additional info: I live in the province of Quebec in Canada if that changes anything. Is this illegal? Do I need a permit? Can I get in trouble? I need to convince my parents that I can do this without getting any risks. Is it illegal to buy and resell products like candy? How about selling it on school grounds? It's not drugs or anything it's just candy like Hersheys, Twix, Mr. Big, Sour patch kids, Fuzzy peaches, etc. If anyone is really good in law and could give me the answer I'd appreciate it. 18 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details I did some research and apparently since we live in a capitalist country (or something :s) we have the right to Consumer to Consumer (C2C) meaning we can resell things and that's why stuff like e-Bay and Amazon exist.
