Selling The Same Thing Om Ebay Twice

Stealing at work, selling it on ebay.?

My partner has been caught stealing from work. He stole various sportswear to sell on ebay but only got caught selling one item because the managing director who was suspicious bid on his item on ebay and bought the item which was then sent to his address by my partner. This is how they found him out. The manager checked the top with one at work and they both have the same seriel number on them, they also checked the stock and found out it had gone missing. The company are now investigating and my partner is now suspended from work. The thing is my partner has sold lots and lots of items from work on ebay. Will the company also take this into consideration when they see his feedback. He has sold 210 items on ebay from the company. Will they need proof that the other items he has sold belonged to them?
How will the company deal with this?
I know he will get fired but how will this affect my partner in the future and is there a chance of a prison sentence?
The company said they will ring him in a couple of days. What is it they will investigate?
His friends at work do the same thing, selling goods on ebay and I know the company will do a stock check. What if they find that many items have gone missing, will my partner be blamed for all that too. Will he also have to pay the company back.
I am fuming as his money from work supports the whole family that we have together.
My partner told me what he was selling was returns and that he bought every item for a few pounds, he lied to me too.
Thank you.

Selling an item on Ebay.... Winner didn't pay.?

If you look at the eBay fees, you will see that they charge you a certain percentage of the amount your item sold for. If you look here http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.htm... you can see how they figure this fee out. The fees for stuff under $100 are reasonable, but once you get into the $150 and above range, they get ridiculous. I've had to pay $20 on an item that sold at auction for $225. That doesn't include any Paypal fees if you use that and since eBay owns Paypal, they're basically charging you twice. eBay is OK for smaller items, but not for expensive ones.

How to convince my parents about selling products on ebay?

writing it out on paper might be a good idea. include these points
people buy almost anything on ebay but be specific about what your going to sell and if he has time to see those types of items on ebay that are actually selling which means your item has a chance too.

if your stuff does not sell you'll only have to pay a small amount for listing the item and you can list it twice to give it a chance to sell.

the experience will also teach you valuable lessons about business and possible spark your interest into starting other ideas in the future.

you'll also be taking intelligent risks that have the potential for profit. this is how the world works, people get into business and take a risk. they keep taking risks until the right idea appeals to the right people.

you'll have to have a paypal account which you parents need to watch over for you. people pay for items on ebay via paypal but i'm guessing since you make purchases all the time your familiar with all of that. as a seller your account is at more risk. if red flags pop up like for taking too long to ship an item, or a customer complains they will shut down your paypal account. that could lead to an bad situation say you've shipped a bunch of stuff and the money you were going to use is locked up in paypal of 90 days. that does happen. make your parents aware of all the risks but don't be afraid to take them. learn from them.

It’s tough, because you have to be at least as good as everyone else, or you fail.More: Profitable Arbitrage TrainingeBay is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out how to run a business, insure your business, get all the right permits and registrations, and then figure out how to get people to want to buy from you instead of the other 38,597,562 sellers on eBay, or anywhere else on Earth, like the corner store. Before setting off with a genius plan to make a million dollars on eBay, contact SCORE and ask them for business advice. SCORE is a fantastic organization, and they’ll get you all the help you need.If you lack these critical business and people skills, eBay isn’t going to make it any easier. eBay is just another market. Arbitrage (“flipping”) is buying and reselling the same thing quickly, but at a higher price, just to make a fast buck.Forget trying to buy items on eBay to resell on eBay. Even if you manage a scheme to have the original seller reship to your buyer instead of you having to pay for shipping twice, PayPal will choke.eBay usually gets the highest prices for anything, so you’re not likely to make a killing thinking you’re any smarter than anyone else at finding bargains on eBay.They make their money by offering the service of being a one-stop, one check solution to get rid of everything. By offering the service of taking it all, they hope that the good stuff makes more money than what it costs them to haul away the junk.Governments have no idea how to promote themselves. When a government runs an auction, it’s usually in the most remote location, at the most ridiculous time, with the weirdest requirements. This isn’t on purpose, it’s simply because governments tend to operate to make things easy for themselves, not run to get the most money for their items to help us, the taxpayers.

Can I sell stuff on ebay without a Paypal account?

I'm not sure you can, because you need to be able to verify yourself. You can ask people not to pay via paypal and only accept cheques etc, but I think to become a seller in the first place you need paypal or something really similar.

To become a seller you'll need to:

1) Verify your identity

2) Select your preferred method of paying seller fees

3) Offer PayPal or a Merchant Account Credit Card as a payment method

Can I list items I don't own on eBay, and sell them from Amazon and payers money and buy the item cheaper off Amazon, profit?

YES.The principle behind this technique is used by retailers and dropshippers all over the world. This simple principle is the key to making profit in the ecommerce business. What is this principle?Buy low, sell high. It’s as simple as that. The fact that you’re buying on Amazon and selling to eBay is inconsequential. It’s a perfectly valid form of dropshipping.Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves, all drop shippers buy low from some marketplace and sell high in another. What’s more, it’s wins all the way down. The customer wins because you’ve provided an item at a cheap price they were willing to pay. eBay wins with their fees. You win for making some profit. Amazon wins for making a sale. Now, to do this at scale can be extremely time consuming. This is exactly why I created dropkick | dropship from any retailer . We support this exact scenario, selling from Amazon to eBay, and automate 90% of the time consuming tasks, letting you scale to millions in sales without needing a team of software engineers.

Is it a good idea to sell on Ebay and Amazon at the same time?

I call it double listing. You have to be attentive to detail and know where your items are stored if you do. Once it sells on one platform, remove and end the listing on the other. Good luck. It can be fine if you have multiple of the same items.Learn how to sell on eBay from a PRO! The A, B, C's of Selling Online Using eBay | Udemy
