Seniors Why Does The Stillness Of The Night Bring Past Memories To Us

In some cases, yes. Anxiety is often a cause of nostalgia. When we fear the uncertainties of the future or feel as though the future will be worse than the present we turn back to the past, when these worries did not afflict our minds, when life seemed to be getting better. When anxiety is induced in this manner, it will most likely be depressive, especially if one is prone to anxiety. I can speak from personal experience to say that in moments of great worry or fear for the future, I often want to simply curl and hide away from the world, go back to the past when things didn’t seem so bad. I then become depressed because, not only does my past life seem better by comparison, I am also not doing anything to help myself out of my current situation, adding a feeling of hopelessness to the proceedings. While anxiety itself isn’t necessarily depressive, when it is frequent or overwhelming, as it often can be for myself, it becomes very depressive, and I believe this trait of anxiety is in many ways what truly makes it a debilitating condition rather than one which will immediately inspire someone to go and fix their situation.

Negative happenings wont happen repeatedly on its own.It is mainly due to negative attitude a person develops in life.People get easily influenced by friends, family and media. But when you know that a particular person is giving you more negative thoughts, you should stay away from such person. Same with media ( TV channel, Newspaper, etc.).If you surround with a positive person or book or inspiring movies etc,, your attitude towards life changes dramatically positive. You start looking for a challenge and in fact search for a challenge to solve it.That happens with confidence over the period of time, as you no longer afraid to fail. You want to know yourself and try how you can improve your weakness areas and try how you can be a better person of yesterday. You are your own competitor and not any one else.. You want to improve every day a bit of yourself of past..Things automatically become positive in life without your knowledge. Just have a lot of trust in Universe and yourself.

Having a temper, being angry, and having a short fuse happens when one is ruled by their emotions. Although often blamed is an external event in which flares our temper, lighting our short fuse, and cause us to be angry. However while not innocent in causing our anger the external is not to blame. For the emotions the appear is a reaction not to the things we perceive, but to how we perceived.I myself suffer from a short fuse and and an even shorter temper when it comes to a few different things. The best way in Dealing with anger is not an easy task. As it is one of the the most overbearing emotions that can rear it’s head wherever it wants and triggered by what may see to be nothing at all. Exercises like Meditation, Yoga and TaiChi, anything that is slow in movement and long in stillness will help increase patience which is a key factor in controlling anger emotions. Folding clothes is something I do that brings me into a very calm and medaitative state. The next most effective thing is in a sense dealing with anger the same way stoicism deals with fear. In that when I’m angry I try to fully experience that emotion and understand it. This doesn’t mean to go full berserk and rage. But rather to acknowledge you are angry, accept that you are angry, don’t try to fight it but let it come and go. A thing I do when I’m by myself and remember to is to say whatever I am mad at out loud. Followed by why I am mad, what I am going to do because I’m mad. A lot of the times hearing myself say the things I am mad and and what i feel like doing to it tend to be stupid and funny enough to that it quells my anger. My go-to if there are people around and I am fuming but can’t make a scene. is scribble and find…I get to scribble as angrily as I want and use my imagination to start venting out my anger. soon let or later it anger will disappear without any notice and more and morre pictures i would begin to see.Lastl resort. I take a walk. funny enough, there arew actually certain methods of walking that are prescribed in Chinese medicine. I've been meaning to look onto it buy have n it doone so. but yes walkin g does a b unchbof good also..

I need an analysis on "The dead men's path" by James Joyce?

In Joyce, an epiphany is a revelation that turns your thinking upside-down for the better. It opens your mind. Gabriel's epiphany comes at the very end of the story when Greta tells him about a boy she was in love with who died from pneumonia after having waited for hours at night in the snow, just so he could see her one last time. This touches Gabriel deeply, and opens his mind to realizations about himself and his behavior and words that evening. He see the past and the future within the present. He sees his wife differently: someone loved her so much, he died for her. Okay, there's that. A flat character is one-dimensional: black and white with no shades of gray. A stereotype is a kind of flat character, one that's fixed and simple, who doesn't change. A round character is one that's complicated and has conflicts, that's more true to life. A supernatural being is one that's beyond the natural, like a ghost or an elf. So, since Gabriel had an epiphany -- a revelation -- and it causes him to see himself differently, from among those 4 choices, which kind of character has he become more like?
