How do I deal with false accusations at work place?

Talk to your boss. If that hasn't been helpful, start looking for another job. If the false accusations are serious, talk to a lawyer. Most lawyers will give you a little bit of time for free in order to decide if it is worth pursuing a case. Do this in the order I listed. Document the accusation, and who said what. Write things down. If you consult with a lawyer, they can read faster than you can talk. And stuff in writing may be useful in court. My uncle once said, “There is only one question that you need to ask yourself about an employer. Are they going to treat you right? If yes, then everything else can be worked out. If no, look for another job.”Unemployment is low in the U.S. If you tell your prospective new employer that you are looking for a new job because of malicious comments, that should be enough information.

Kejriwal & GVLN Rao have made some serious allegations regarding EVM, with reasonable arguments. What do you think?

AAP was very sure of a victory( or at-least good performance), such that they even started looking for a replacement of MP Bhagat Mann in case he wins from his MLA seat( Punjab Elections 2017: If Bhagwant Mann wins, who should be MP, his party ponders)The results were Shocking. It was like an Engg. student who was expecting 72/100 in university exam getting 20.(Or one who thinks he is getting 45 marks in GATE , ends up getting “03”)Several nations(USA, Germany,ETc.) have banned the use of EVMs & are using ballot voting.I am Not saying that we must Doubt the Results. we must Not question the Result unless & until we get a solid proof of some wrong-doing. Politicians who are really surprised of the results do have earlier also expressed their doubt publicly. Earlier it was mayawati alone in UP raising doubt, now Akhilesh has too jumped.I want to share this one Incident in BMC elections.BMC elections 2017 MumbaiA small incidentI voted but vote BMC electionsBMC Elections 2017: The EVM did not register my vote - Mumbai Mirror - (Several disgruntled and shocked candidates from the city and across the state have complained to the Election Commission regarding faulty EVMs.)An Independent candidate voted for himself and his Family too voted for him.But he found that during counting, the EVM showed that he got zero votes that particular booth. There were some doubts from some other people also.Do a google search for more info.Forget all this, visit the Wikipedia page. Electronic voting in India - Wikipedia and see the Security section of the page.Earlier too several politicians have raised doubts over evm. BJP Lk Advani had backed a book in 2010 which casted doubt on evms.I Strongly feel that AAP must move away from this EVM issue. Raising this issue will only Spoil their hard earned image. Perhaps maybe AAP was Not able to analyze the mood in Punjab properly. AAP MUST GO BACK & ASK FOR FEEDBACK FROM THE PEOPLE. AAP has sometimes did some things that have been self destroying.VVPT verification is a thing that has demanded many times earlier also.Lets hope that some day, such doubts regarding Elections will never be raised. Also see:Indian EVM

How seriously will Lucy Flores allegations affect Biden’s anticipated run for president?

Sadly, I don’t think any of the allegations against Biden will have that much of an impact on his candidacy should he finally get around to announcing that he’s actually running (although we all know he’s running.)I say “sadly” because the double standard imposed by those of the Left side of U.S. politics is glaring. When looking back at the treatment of others, such as Kavanaugh and Franken, I find myself wondering why isn’t Biden meeting with the same degree of outrage, disgust, #MeToo backing, etc? Why isn’t Alyssa Milano protesting outside his speech venues?Personally, I think the whole thing is pretty ridiculous. If someone is sniffing my hair and I don’t like it, I simply turn to him/her and say quietly, “Stop it.” If they don’t, then I say, in a loud voice, “Stop smelling my hair, you pervert!” That usually does the trick.Don’t want to cause a public scene? That’s your choice. But don’t come back 20 years later and whine about how “he made me uncomfortable” and “I felt violated.” If you are uncomfortable or feel violated, SAY SOMETHING THEN, NOT 20 YEARS LATER!During my career as a nurse (read my profile bio if you don’t know what I’m referencing), I dealt with more than one doctor/fellow nurse/intern making unwanted comments and physical contact. All it took was one loud proclamation to the effect, “Get your fucking hand off me, you pervert!” to nip that shit in the bud.Biden won’t be crucified for his behavior as others have been. After all, as far as we know, he hasn’t been accused of anything from his kindergarten years, yet.

Suppose some of the allegations against Trump were true, would that pose any legal obstacle to his path to the white house?

There were a lot of allegations in that dossier. Some were a lot more serious than others. It depends on what exactly is proven to be true.If it's the minor stuff, then it's nothing new. In fact, it's relatively mild compared to things we saw during the campaign. It wouldn't change anything all that much.If some of the more serious accusations are proven to be true – like working with a foreign government to subvert the American electoral system – he may well be charged with treason and put in prison. Which would pose an obvious obstacle to the presidency.Though, keep in mind, absolutely nothing in this document has been proven to be true. At least not yet.

Can A Supervisor write you up on hearsay allegations?

yes, they can write you up for it. It sucks, i know, but they are just covering themselves in the sense that if it was true and something really bad came of it (like that CEO sueing for harrassment) and they have it on record that it was reported and they didn't take any action, that CEO would have a lot more evidence on his/her side in court.
Oh, and having worked HR before, the signing of the paperwork is just signing that you did indeed receive it. It doesn't mean that you agree to it. I've written up a lot of people and the signature is just proof for the company that the warning was issued. However, the paperwork should have had an area for you to make a statement or add details, in which case you should have written that the accussations were false, just so its on record. If you didn't get that opportunity to write in details, I would reconfront HR about it to put your thoughts in writting so your side of the story is on record. If they turn around and say that they transcribed what you told them verbally, tell themyou want a copy of it in writting. You are entitled to a copy of your entire write up report.

I got a voicemail saying I have 4 allegations pressed on my name, and I’ll be taken under custody by the police. Should I call them back like they say?

I got a voicemail saying I have 4 allegations pressed on my name, and I’ll be taken under custody by the police. Should I call them back like they say?Question #1: Who left the voicemail? It sounds like a scam. Do NOT “return the call.” If you want to be sure whether or not it was the police, call your local police station. Look up the police station’s non-emergency number and dial it manually. In fact, they might be greatly interested to know that someone is impersonating them. Give them a call—but be careful to do it manually.Cops don’t inform a person of imminent arrest; they arrive at your house without warning in the middle of the night when they know you’re home and pick you out of your bed. At least, in novels they do. It’s so much easier that way.UPDATE, Oct. 23, 2018: A few weeks after writing this answer, I got a similar telephone message. If I remember correctly, the allegation was that I had done something wrong and owed Revenue Canada on my taxes. I followed my own advice and called Revenue Canada; the threatening call was bogus.I repeat: Do not “return call.”

How do you cope with a sociopath making false accusations against you?

Unless you are a mental health professional with solid background information on the person in question, it is impossible to diagnose a sociopath. The person’s observed behaviour may be due to a range of possible factors, sociopathy just one of them. The person is an arsehole. The exact mechanisms responsible for this are less important than knowing how to deal with them. This takes us to part two of your question, the joys of dealing with false accusations. In the short-term, the best solution is to put the onus on the person to prove their allegations, which of course they will not be able to do. This puts them on the defensive and gives you time to implement a more permanent long-term strategy. In the court of public opinion, simply making a serious allegation is often enough to derail a person, however in a legal or professional situation, the person must substantiate their claims with hard evidence. If you are treated otherwise, you have grounds to file a lawsuit or appeal the ruling, as the legal system or your employer has ignored your basic right to be considered innocent until proven guilty.Long-term, the person needs to be cut out of your life; they are clearly a negative influence and you a deriving no net benefit from association with them.If you are living with them, that would mean kicking them out of the house or moving out yourself. If you are working with them, that would mean openly and honestly communicating your concerns to management, focusing on what the individual has done as opposed to the individual themselves. If your concerns are not addressed, it is time to leave the firm.
