Set Wii On Hd And The Tv Isnt Hd Now We Cant See Anything

Anyone else think wii u graphics suck?

No.

Grainy graphics with new HDTV on Wii? I also bought component cables?

I am a owner of a Wii and Xbox 360, I recently switched from regular TV to HDTV, what I noticed on the Wii was that graphics went from good to terrible after switching from a regular tv to HDTV even with the component cables and the settings set at 480p from 480i. The 360 graphics are great.

But why is my WII having such grainy graphics now?

What is the best setup for my HDTV, Direct TV, VCR, DVD, Wii?

Modern TVs have lots of connections, so I am very surprised you can't fit everything.

Satellite receiver: For now it looks like you use an SD one. You need to upgrade to an HD model. At that point, use HDMI. For now use component if available, if not S-Video, but you are really wasting your TV.

Wii. Use Component (red/green/blue)

If it is an HDTV it should have coax input (for the tuner) - otherwise it is called HD ready or a monitor. Check if your VCR has composite out (yellow port) and use that.

DVD player. You should definitely be using component cables.

Since you don't tell us what connections you have on the TV, here is a plan

Set-top : Get an HD one - HDMI; until you get one s-video or component
Wii and DVD player - Component
VCR - RF or composite

Help! My Wii is only playing in black and white?

I've had my Wii for a few months and it's been working fine until today. I was playing Mario Kart and ejected it and put in another game without quitting Mario Kart. Then I got an error message that told me to eject the game and turn off the console. I ejected the game, but the console wouldn't turn off. So I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in, and ever since then it's been displaying in black and white. Then I turned it off again, unplugged everything, and plugged everything back in again, nice and tight and in the right slots, but it is still only displaying in black and white. I have an HDTV which works fine on tv and the xbox, just not the Wii. What do I do?!?!?

How do I mirror my Android's screen to my TV without a HDMI cable?

If your Android device is higher than 4.0, then if you you have a TV, Blu-ray player or Console that supports Screen Mirroring, you can use Wifi Direct to mirror it to your bigger screen. Since the screen mirroring protocol is different for each receiver, then you will need to read the documentation for it. These can usually be found on the website of the device manufacturer.

Why is my TV's sound echoing?

I have a Mitsubishi HDTV. I'm not sure what the model is, but it is about 3 years old. We used to have DirecTV and everything was fine. Recently, we switched to our local cable company because they have faster, cheaper internet. When we switched to the cable company, we noticed our TV had an echo on the Standard Definition channels, but the HD channels are perfectly fine. I've gone throught the menus on both the TV and the Cable Box and nothing seems to change it. I reset the audio/video signal hoping it would work but it didn't. I seem to remember our TV's audio menu having a "Mono" setting, but now we just have "Stereo", "Surround", and "Night" which does pretty much nothing. The "Mono" setting isn 't there anymore so I don't know what to do. "Turn off the TV volume and just listen to the Surround System" you might say. We don't have a Surround System, so that's out. "Turn off the 3D setting then." It's not a 3D TV so there's no option for that either. I'm out of ideas so I've turned to the internet. Please help. At the moment, I've got the sound on the left speakers off so the sound is only coming from the right side speakers and that kind of fixed it, but there has to be a real way, i just can't find it. Cable Provider: Antietam Cable. Help please. Thanks.

My Wii won't show up on my TV?

First check that the Yellow and White RCA cords are plugged correctly. In a dim lighted room I have mistakenly put the yellow in the white socket, and the white in the yellow which gave me the same problem you have now. If your yellow (video) is not connected correctly then you will not get any picture.

Step two is the check the cable ends to see if not broken or bent.
You can also check you cable connection on a different TV.
If you get the same problem then it might be a defective cable.

How to fix pixelation when playing wii games on the wii u?

I tried to play skyward sword and twilight princess on my wii u but they are all pixelated. i guessed this was because of the resolution of my TV. im not at my dads house right now so i cant see exactly what tv it is but i think its a 60 inch samsung hdtv plasma. i changed the resolution to 480p and 16:9 aspect ratio and still no change. it looks terrible and it looks so much better on my other wii. does anyone know a way to fix this?
