Can I use my phone as a mobile hotspot to get WiFi for my tablet?

YES, you can DO it!!! Mobile device can not act as a wifi repeater so that it can be a wifi hotspot device, but doing some geeks with a awesome Android Apps it can be done…Also it is not required to root your device..what you have to do? You have to install an App “Netshare” from Google Play store there after open it, it will generate a Network ID and password, use this to connect to other devices..Its so easy.. you may also refer here for practical demonstration:How To Make Your Phone Into A WiFi Hotspot [NO ROOT]Like it ?thanks !!!

How can i connect my android tablet to the net using a wireless network on my laptop?

i got a dopo tablet the other day and i can not get it to connect to the internet. it has a android 2.3 os. i have tried setting up ad hoc networks like 10 times. some with wpa or wep some with no key needed. i downloaded the connectify software and nothing works. when it does see the network it tries to connect than it just disconnects. and most of the time it says it is out of range. i put in the key and ssid tons of times on both devices. restarted them turned wifi on and off.
im almost certain it is just a simple setting i am missing. like i allowed internet sharing on the mobile network and it should be set on the wireless one. though i tried both. or it could be a service i stopped from starting up in the system config. i have a usb modem for the internet. could that effect something?

Open the group you created and download the file.7. Done. No need to install any other app. No need to make an additional account.8. You can send from pc to phone by sending file once connected on whats app web and downloading on phone.9 PS- you can use this group to make notes as well , saving more space on your phone.

Can't connect to one particular WiFi network?

Certain makes of WiFi devices (computers, games consoles, TVs, phones, etc) are not fully compatible with certain routers. The incompatibility can vary from the device not detecting the network at all, to refusing to connect to the network, to slow connections and random drop outs. My experiences with my own network and those of my friends suggests that between 2% and 5% of device/router combinations experience come compatibility issue. In many cases, this can simply be operating at a speed slower than should be achieved and I believe many people do not realise that they have any problem.

Before I upgraded to a different ISP connection, my IP security camera would not detect my WiFi network, and the camera had to use an Ethernet connection instead. Also my old laptop was painfully slow, but my Windows tablet PC was fine. After the upgrade of the ISP connection, the new router works fine with the IP camera over WiFi and the old laptop experienced better WiFi Performance, but the tablet PC was much slower.

Sometimes a change of wireless channel in the router, or a different driver for the wireless adapter in the PC can solve the problem. Other alternatives include disabling the original wireless adapter and plugging in a USB adapter (with Windows 10 drivers in your case), or using a different WiFi source.

As the only device I have that experiences problems is my tablet PC, I bought a TP-Link TL-WA850RE WiFi Range Extender. This is not giving me extra range, however, it does represent a separate WiFi source (with a different SSID). Since it receives the signal from the router THEN retransmits it (and the same in the opposite direction), it drops the speed by around 50%, but since I get over 50 Mbps download from my ISP, getting only 25 Mbps to this PC is no hardship.

I hope this provides you with the possible cause of your problem and a way forward.

What is the difference between network printer vs. wireless printer?

I am new to this sharing printer stuff but am interested in being able to use my wireless laptop while lounging on the deck and being able to send my documents to my printer in the house. I do not know if this is networking or if I need a wireless ready printer. What exactly is networking a printer anyway?
Thanks for your knowledge!!
