Sharp pain on the left side of my stomach?

Any disease process affecting organs or structures on the left side of the abdomen can cause pain there. Left side abdominal pain can also result from organs or structures far removed from the abdomen or near it, or even from pain spreading from other part of the abdomen. As in other parts of the body, pain on the left abdomen can occur from disease affecting the following organs found there. Organs and structures found in the left side of the abdomen are: Left edge of the Liver The Spleen Body and Tail of the Pancreas The Stomach Left half of the Transverse Colon or large intestine The Descending Colon Sigmoid Colon Left Adrenal gland Left Kidney Left Ureter Left Ovary in women Left Fallopian tube in women Nerves on the left side of the abdomen Skin covering the left side of the abdomen Blood vessels on the left side of the abdomen including the aorta Muscles of the wall of the left side of the abdomen. Sharp pain in the bottom left side of my back?
So just recently, I breathe (like any human) and as i take in the air, i get a sharp pain, like needle going in for a quick hard poke and bam goes away, on the left side of my lower back. In the area right below my rib cage and above my hip bone? This pain does not allow me to complete my deep breath and i have to hold my breath until i know it wont hurt if i breathe in more or just suck it up and try to go past that pain and it goes away when i pass the pain. The pain usually lasts about 15 seconds. And it is only when i breathe in, so what could this be? My dad says it is the cold weather but why would i hurt in the left side of my lower back? Anything would be helpful, thank you!
17 weeks pregnant with sharp pain in lower left side of stomach?
im 17 weeks pregnant and last night I was laying on my back when I suddenly had a sharp jabbing pain in the lower left siide of my stomach just above my pubic area...i could feel the pains in my vaginal area too, but as soon as I rolled over on my side it stopped...i have had the same pain a couple times today also and again it was just above the pubic area and I could feel it in my vaginal area... I dont know if I it could be a UTI or what but I cant get into my doctor until monday and im freaking out... Any ideas?
Sharp pain on left lower stomach?
I keep getting this sharp pain on the left lower part of my stomach. It hits and then vanishes, hits and then vanishes (i.e. it's not constant). It just feels like an intensely sharp pain that keeps striking consistently.

Left side sharp abdominal pain?
Is the pain on YOUR LEFT side, meaning when you look down is the pain to left of your belly button? If the pain is in fact on your left side then there is potentially less to worry about being that most of your organs in your abdoman that could be of concern are on YOUR right side. If it were appendecitis then chances are you would be feeling pain on YOUR right side of your abdomen, same with your liver nad gallbladder. If the pain migrates to your mid section or to your right side of belly button go see a doctor ASAP. If it stays on your left then it may be ome GAS or even some ABDOMINAL SPASMS which can be very painful I hope you get some relief either way Good luck and God Bless

What causes pain in the left side of your stomach after dancing or running?
The pain sensation in the left side of your stomach after physical activities/workout session is due to amount of blood flow to the Gastro Intestinal (GI) organs decreases as it is diverted to the working muscles. There are also changes to the rate of gastric emptying and hormone levels. Abdominal muscle contractions and increased diaphragm movements may also contribute to GI symptoms during exercise. To mitigate these symptoms mainly involves reducing the contents of the stomach during exercise. Meals should not be eaten within 3 hours of exercise and what is eaten should be low in fat and protein. If further treatment is needed, antacid medication may be helpful in reducing heatburn and upper abdominal pain. Antacid medications are usually effective for 30 minutes. If this is not sufficient a Doctor may prescribe medications such as H2 Blocker (Ranitidine) or PPI (Omeprazole).
