Sharp pain behind left ear?
how long has this pain lasted? Although it could be something inside the ear (ear infection) I have also seen people with migraines suffer symptoms like this. Try an icepack on the area and see if it helps but if not before too long please see a doctor

Right, so this morning I woke up around 05:30am and I stretched and suddenly heard a loud click in my left ear. I went to get up but I couldn't and I felt a sharp pain in the left side of my neck, just below my ear. It's still like it now and I am off school. I have put Voltarol on the area affected and applied a heat patch, but th pains still there. My Mum said she's going to make an appointment with the doctor but I hate the doctor's surgery and would only ever go there if I was dying. The pain feels like a bone or something has broken and everytime I move a sharp pain shoots around the area. Do you have any idea what it could be? Should I go to the doctor? Are there any treatments? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to see a doctor for antibiotic ear drops to get rid of that. Otherwise, hold your nose closed with your fingers and blow hard against them. This will force a bubble of air through your eustachian tube and into your middle ear. Often if a person has a little bit of sinus drainage or allergies their eustachian tubes swell closed.
