No, it will NOT. It is a myth, don't believe others that say it is a known fact. Find a study that supports the idea...but you won't since there are none. It may *seem* thicker after a few days, because the ends are cut and they reflect light more. But in a few weeks it'll look like it does now, only perhaps a little more due to the fact that you are maturing. Why don't you post the question to the beard board and a picture of it so you can get some help from experts?

The first time I shaved (or basically trimmed) my moustache was when I was in 9th standard. Like any other teen boy I was uncomfortable with all the hair growing over my lips. So one night I decided to trim it a little bit . Just a little bit. I started around the edges with delicate cuts. This when went for a while until I realized that bit by bit I had trimmed down my entire moustache!At first I freaked out . I was wondering how my mother would react. When I went to sleep I hid my moustache zone with my hands. Then came the weird part . Mom asked "Haath hata to, kya chupa raha hai"(Remove your hands , what are you hiding). I unwillingly had to remove my hands and her expression and reaction was exactly what I had expected. She called dad from upstairs and he said ," Ye kya kiya, abhi kaatega to aur ghana aayega "(What have you done, if you trim now then it'll become more bushy).Now receiving such kind of reaction was obvoiusly dreaded about going to school the other day. As I reached he first thing my classmates said "Shave kiya hai kya " (did you shave?) . My teachers asked the same thing. The centre of conversation that day was the foolish thing I had done.Ever since that day , I am very careful about trimming and try to do is as less as possible ....PS. I am 17 now and now it's a normal thing. I even bought a trimmer and trim once every week. But still , I wish I hadn't trimmed tht night... ;)

Contrary to popular myth, hair does NOT grow back thicker once it's been shaved. It will probably be several weeks (or months) before your "mustache" is noticeable again. In the meantime, you may want to use a black magic marker. It worked for Groucho Marx.

I just shaved my mustache for the first time without shaving cream. After I put on some moisturiser. And then it began to burn. I looked in the mirror and it looked like i had a Kylie Jenner lip. Will it still burn and stay red for tomorrow?
