Shops That Deliver Vegetable Juice Powders

Can I open a 50mg capsule of zinc and add the powder to milk, juice or smoothie?

Just to carefully explain...so that there is an understanding of my routine/dosage just in case there's any questions lol:

also I wanted to do the same to
2/500mg Spirulina
500mg Goldenseal
and possibly Valerium

Reason why is because the gelatin I assume is not breaking down properly causing constipation.
I drink them all at night 1-2hrs before bed. W/ two cups of water.

I already bought them I know people will recommend the vegetable ones but I already paid for these so I can not buy any more until I am all out.
Plus I was told not to take These more than 14 days.
I will next time though.

It was just hard finding the zinc in vegetable capsules with I prefer because I am a vegetarian but I truly needed this supplement asap

I believe that the valerium (I use to help with sleep), spirulina, goldenseal are all vegetablle capsules but not the zinc.

I'm just wondering if it is safe to open the capsule and use the powder....Is it safe to mix them all in capsule or powder form anyways..Oh and I'll be adding powder Matcha to ease the taste.

Thanks everyone! Truly appreciate it hope this is clear and not too long!

Vegetarian - Does chicken powder come from chickens?

This sounds like a stupid question, and it may be, but in some frozen "vegetarian" meals I have seen there are ingredients like 'beef flavour' and 'chicken powder'.

Now, I know that beef flavour is the made from the juice of a steak, and therefore, should not be in a vegatarian meal. I am just wondering if chicken powder is just flavoured using seasonings or if the powder is flavoured from the actual chicken?

I do not want to eat 'vegetarian' meals that have meat ingredients or ingredients that came from the meat of an animal. I do eat dairy and am not a vegan, just no red meat, no birds, no fish and I do not eat eggs directly, but will eat food products with eggs in them.

Please help me! I can't find the information anywhere on the internet.

How long can we store homemade vegetable juice?

72 hours in the shelf life of juice extracted from the best quality juicers. These juicers don’t causing frothing or foaming which leads to oxidation of juice and shorter shelf life. Also if your juicer generated too much heat this also causes the juice to deteriorate faster. So invest in good quality juicer and consume the juice as soon as possible. You can max refrigerate upto 72 hours beyond that juice loses all nutrition and might even go bad.

and even though you didn't ask for this, here is a great lemon cake recipe:

Ingredients: 1 ½ cups brown rice flour, 2 tbsp arrowroot powder, 1 tbsp baking powder, 6 large eggs, ½ cup clarified butter (or coconut oil), 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice, 1 tbsp lemon flavoring (alcohol free) or 4 tbsp lemon juice, 5 tbsp vegetable glycerin

Does consuming juice powder concentrates or vitamin pills decrease children's desire to eat fruit and vegetables?

My answer is yes. They are at a critical age right now.  Either you slowly get them to eat vegetables and fruits now, or never.  The older they get without eating vegetables and fruits, the less and less likely they are to eat those foods later in life.I know several adults who barely eat any vegetables or fruits, save the odd tomato slice in a burger or a banana once in a while.  They all grew up without eating much vegetables or fruits, either because those foods were not consumed in their house, or mostly because they were fussy eaters and their parents had given up on them from a young age to try to get them to eat such foods. You know your kids better.  I suggest slowly decreasing the juice powders and slowly increasing the fresh vegetables and fruits.  Ask them which vegetables/fruits they like.  Take them shopping and let them choose some of the fresh produce.  If they are involved in the cutting/chopping/cooking process they are more likely to eat them.  Give them a recipe book with beautiful color pics (or a website) and ask them to choose a vegetable dish which the whole family can make together.  Those are just some ideas.  Once their veggies/fruit consumption has increased from the level now, decrease the juice powders even more, until you get to only veggies/fruits and no juice powders and multivitamins.By the way, many studies have shown harm from multivitamin/mineral supplements in adults.  Try to get nutrients from food instead of from tablets or syrups.Good luck.

What supplements are out there for vegetable in take? I'm very bad at eating them.

Plenty…but you may find that the remedy, at least in powder form, tastes a damn sight worse than a nice fresh juicy red tomato or a munchy organic carrot. And this, coming from a vendor and retailer of supplements who has been selling them for decades. As has been suggested, if it’s just that you’re adverse to the taste and texture of vegetables (and there are plenty of people who were not exposed to them as children, avoid them as adults), getting yourself a juicer and mixing in fruits, etc. may work. There are also suppliers like Pure Greens, Green Juice, Beet It, etc. that supply RTDs. The problem with most mainstream beverages is that they are basically over processed and over salted watery soups.Or perhaps using a food processor and mixing the hated items into sauces, omelettes, bread or pastries, meat loaf, smoothies and the like. With a bit of prep and culinary sleight-of-hand, it may come as a surprise but you can make anything edible. If these suggestions aren’t going to work for you, supplements such as:Green 33Dr. Berg’sMax Greens (GNC)Purebolics SuperGreenetc.Take a walk down the isle of any whole foods market, upscale health store, Amazon or wherever you do your shopping and you’ll be presented with beaucoup options.Although, the issue is still going to be that it’s going to cost you more and it’s unlikely that anything currently out there is going to do a better job than the real thing. But, I guess that you already know that…and we’ll suppose that getting a little good is better than getting none.

How can I conveniently make green juice every morning without a juicer?

The quickest way to make green juice every morning without a juicer is to blend it and then filter it through a nut milk bag, a kitchen sieve, or another fine strainer of some kind. You will most likely need to add a little water to the bottom of your blender, but if you use some extra juicy fruit or use a green base such as cucumber or celery you may not need as much water. You'll want to do this because first it may not blend completely otherwise, and secondly because you can burn out the motor on your blender if it has to work too hard to mix everything together. Once you have your mixture in your nut milk bag, you'll want to squeeze it to get as much juice out as possible. Just do it until your satisfied you have as much out of it as you want. If you're using a sieve or other fine strainer you can move the pulp around by using a spoon or spatula. This will ensure that you get as much of the juice out as possible! To make it more convenient wash all of your ingredients the night before and have them all in once place.  This will make it so much easier to just throw it all in the blender in the morning quickly. Otherwise you'll be washing everything on top of cutting some of it up to prepare it for your juice.
