No, he didn't. Andrew was inspired by a pair of binoculars he was using at a ball game. The animation requirements he was trying to satisfy were how to get emotional facial expressions organically out of a robot. Your gonna spend a little more for a saleen because there were less made. Plus your gonna come across a lot of fakes. The 2004 Cobra (terminator) took mods very well. You can get big horsepower for cheap. The 2004 cobra also had indepent rear suspension. I don't believe the saleen did. EDIT im a big fan of the terminator cobras. But the saleen is a little more rare. I personally am gonna get in a cobra in a few years to go along with my 2004 lightning. You can find an 04 cobra with lots of modifications (bigger supercharger, pulleys, intake, exhaust) for reasonable prices. Check different car forums such as svtperformance.com. in there classifieds.
