Should Advertisements For Fast Food Chains Be Banned

Do i have a lawsuit against a fast food chain.?

I ordered a dish from a popular nation wide fast food restaurant. I specifically ordered BEEF on my dish. As the food arrived I began to eat after a few bite I noticed that the meat tasted odd and began examining it further. I realized that it was not beef and that it was actually Pork sausage. I am a devoted muslim and totally violates my religious belief. I have never ate Pork in my life because of my religious belief. I am emotionally hurt and uneasy do to this. I have asked to speak to the manager. They told me he would call back. I haven't heard from him. Do I have a lawsuit and if so what kind?

Did Arby's fast food chain get its name from the initials "RB," as in, Roast Beef, it's specialty?

No !!!!!!!
Arby's, which stands for R.B., the initials of Raffel Brothers.
Forrest Raffel and his younger brother Leroy founded Arby's in 1964. The partners wanted to use the name "Big Tex," but were unsuccessful in negotiating with the Akron businessman who was already using the name. So they came up with the name Arby's.

The first Arby's restaurant opened in Boardman, Ohio, on July 23, 1964, serving only roast beef sandwiches, potato chips, and a beverage, and was the only Arby's¨ restaurant for a year as the brothers refined the operation. One year later, the first Arby's licensee opened a restaurant in Akron, Ohio. Today, more than 500 licensees operate more than 3,200 restaurants worldwide.

Why shouldn't fast food be banned in schools?

Coz sometime when there is no one in your home or ur late or forgot tiffin something is needed and fast food serves it.Everybody wants to eat different from what they eat at home.Their taste buds demand it.Canteen is the only place where we fight with our friends and enjoy it.As soon as the Bell rings a huge crowd gathers at the canteen. Some are there to eat and some to take from others. If there is canteen without fast food students wouldn't go near it.Everybody prefers fast food over home made food.P.S I could write it because my school canteen has closed in my final year...

Should fastfood companies like McDonald's be banned from advertising just like tobacco was?

What is next? Stop advertising Coca Cola and ALL sodas? Chocolate? Hey, let’s stop cookies too.In 2010, San Francisco banned McDonald’s from offering free toys in their kid’s meal (the parents could still buy them). In Silicon Valley, some employers have actually stopped offering soda in their vending machines to promote a healthier lifestyle. This is all very annoying and rather ineffective. McDonald’s has improved the quality of their food not because of bans, but because of the competition from restaurants which offer healthier food at comparable prices.

Why should not we ban fast food outlets?

Let’s review:In 1920 an Amendment to the constitution was passed effectively banning alcohol, until said amendment was repealed in 1933. During those 13 years, crime sky-rocketed and it paved the way for Organized Crime to gain a foothold in America. For decades now, the American Government has been engaged in a War on Drugs. This war shows absolutely no signs of stopping any time soon, even the most liberal and relaxed presidents keep it going, regardless of their own past drug use, and it’s essentially an unwinnable “war”. It is such by design because it’s an excuse to outfit police and such with state of the art equipment and any government spending can be written off for that purpose. Drug use, meanwhile, hasn’t stopped and it hasn’t even seemed to slow down all that much (we won’t even go into the abuse of pharmaceutical drugs).Banning fast food restaurants? Well if you want to create a criminal underworld for french fries, hamburgers, etc. then by all means. I won’t stop buying them or cooking them, I won’t stop eating. And if you want people to get shot and killed over food that’s considered unhealthy? Well have fun with the fallout from that.
