Does Alabama drug test every newborn at birth ?
Just to clarify, Ive been 100% clean & organic my whole pregnancy, except this one time. Im 34 weeks pregnant & I did recently smoke pot, my back has been in intense sciatica pain for the past three days & so I smoked today to help with the pain because I dont believe in using synthetic medicine & didnt want to while I was pregnant. Im just wondering about what the laws are in Alabama about drug testing pregnant women when the go into labor & go into the hospital & the laws regarding drug testing newborns. Can the test me or my child without my consent? Will they test if the child is born completely healthy? How long could it show up in my babys system? I know there is a possibility it could be detected in my system for up to 35 days, but how long could it be detected in my babys system? I dont feel like Ive done something worthy of having my child taken away from me, Ive been so excited & looking forward to her arrival for so long that it would be heartbreaking to have it happen. If I had known at the time I smoked that there was a chance of losing her over it I wouldnt have done it. I felt like smoking one time wouldnt do any damage to her or me. I rarely ever smoked before my pregnancy & wasnt planning on smoking after her arrival & I dont want to have CPS try to take her from me. & should I be worried ab getting drug tested against my consent at my doctors appointments? I have one tomorrow.
Can my neighbor threaten me with calling cps?
I had a lady come knock on my door saying she lives in the apartment across from where I live saying that she can hear my 2 year old scream late at night and if it doesn't stop she's gonna call cps on me! I didn't even know what to say to her she completely took me by surprise! Yes my 2 year old screams sometimes and he has a high pitch voice but there's times where I can't help it if he screams I mean he's a toddler going through the terrible twos stage . My husband works late so I stay up to wait for him and cook him dinner when he comes home and yes there are times when my toddler stays up late too. And he does tend to yell sometimes especially if he doesn't get his way . ( we're trying to work with him on better ways to communicate other that yelling) I do admitt we have sometimes yelled at him to be quiet out of frustration maybe but does that make us bad parents? I may not be a perfect mom but my son lives in a loving home where he has everything he needs. Like I mentioned this lady doesn't even live in my apartment building. I mean not even my own neighbors who live next door or below us have ever complained or mentioned anything about my sons yelling!! This lady even asked if my son had any special needs? Like what does that have to do with it? Now I'm scared that any yell or loud noise that my toddler makes will have this lady call cps on us, What should I do?

Cps pulled my children out of class today to talk to them.?
Let me say I am one angry momma! I picked my oldest daughter up today and she told me a cps worker pulled her out of her final to ask her questions. She focused a lot on why they stayed at my moms so much. And my daughter said she helps take care of my 83 yr old grandma. By making sure she doesn't fall gets her something to drink stuff like that. Then she went to my youngest daughter's school and did the same. I was not informed by CPS about the visit. I had to call my youngest daughter school to get the phone number of the CPS worker That spoke to her. my daughter say they ask about food weather my husband works full or part time if they were scared if they were touched inappropriately and what would they do why they go to their grandma's so much. I am Not Afraid of CPS at all I have nothing to hide my house is immaculate my refrigerator is always full of food my mothers house is the same these girls have NEVER been spanked. What are my rights. What do I do next

If you can hear them then you need to call the police. Call the police at the time that it is happening.Tell the police exactly what you're hearing, when it started and tell them that it's happened before and when it happened before what you heard.It's up to the police to talk to them and tell them they are interfering with their neighbors peace. I would ask them not to reveal your name because they're not supposed to reveal your name but it doesn't hurt to tell them you're afraid that if they know who called there might be repercussions and you don't want any trouble.If there are children involved when you here arguing, tell the police what you hear. I know other people are going into great detail about what happens to children that are abused but it's not always like people say because I know in my state things have changed and they don't always give children back to their parents anymore if they find there is abuse. You shouldn't worry about it because you're not the one in control of the situation. You are simply telling the police what you heard and the rest is up to them.
