Should I beat up my friend's bully?
I’ve done this a few times when I was younger. Back in Elementary School I was socially awkward and had few friends. There was one incident during recess where my friend was pushed down a slide by the grade’s bully. I was already at the bottom as I watched my friend tumble down the slide. I was much smaller than the bully but I the anger I felt at watching my friend be mistreated got my so hot that I couldn’t think straight. The bully followed my friend down the slide. I decided that I wasn’t going to idly stand by so I took a running start towards the slide. When the bully reached the bottom, his face got to have a surprise meeting with my face. I got in trouble with the school, but my father told me he was proud that I stood up for my friend. In Conclusion, I believe that fighting a bully is a good trade off if you can protect your friend.

ok. in one of my classes, this girl walks up to me and says "Do you know who is going out with -name-? Because I want to try to break them up." And I said "I am?!" So we dont talk. Then when i got home from school I asked her about this, and she said "Well we'll jus fight on monday, cuz i'd like to see you try to beat me up." Here's the thing, she is real short and would be very easy to beat up. So i said "ok, monday." And then she randomly texts me saying "I am telling the principal that you are threatening to beat me up". And i said "I don't wantt to fight you". So she goes "Are we cool then?" And i said yes. But honestly, I still want to beat her up. But what am I going to say to the principal and my parents? "She said she was gonna beat me up and I beat her to it?" My question -- should i still fight her? I really want to. And she starts **** about everyone at school. Should i beat her up for them? Please help, thanks.

That depends , are they way bigger then you ? then I would say probably not the best idea .. if not , then Yaa sure . beat the hell out of them , then you will most likely need a good defense attorney , ( they don’t come cheep ) and some one to bail you out of jail , after your charged with assault and battery , but this could be a valuable , and expensive lesson for you .. If some one talks shit , , laugh at them hard .. and walk away … god they hate that … or beat them up , and they will get the last laugh . choice is yours .Good luck
If someone insults your mom, can you beat them up?
OK so I'm 14, and this kid at school keeps saying your mom stuff. Not the jokes either, its the stuff like "I f**ked your mom last night" and "Stick it up your mom's p***y" and stuff like that. I was wondering if I have the right to beat him up for it. I don't mean like once or twice, I literally mean beat the hell out of him. If he keeps insulting my mom, do I have the right to beat him up?
Should you beat someone up for making fun of you?
I'm 20, and am a college student. I like to think I'm a really nice, and mellow guy. which I am to everyone I meet, but about two weeks ago as I was walking out of class these group of guys, whom Ive never met before started making fun of me calling me mclovin since I'm a pretty skinny guy. I'm about 5.7 and their a easy 6 ft. Now the friends I do have call me mclovin just to tease me but were friends, and we know each other so I usually have a arsenal of things to fire back. Like I said I don't know these ppl so I just ignore them, and keep walking but day after they keep doing it to make fun of me, and it's kind of getting to me. I'm an adult, and want to walk away; but I'm also a amateur boxer, and really want to lay them out. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You are civilized and wise, don't put yourself at that level where you have to use force against the waiter! In this situation I would report to the manager about what the waiter has been doing. Cheers.

Can I beat up a thief to retrieve what was stolen?
You are only allowed to use minimum force against a thief or assailant, enough to incapacitate or prevent them from causing you any physical harm. That does not mean you can kill him, otherwise you could be charged with manslaughter. If a thief steals your goods it is best to be cautious as they may harbor a concealed weapon. However, if you are sure you can tackle them without injury to yourself, then go for it. Just be mindful of how severely you beat the thief as they could sue you for grievous bodily harm.
