Should i buy a new laptop or a smartphone?
I already have an iPod touch 4 and and a new iPad and a really old phone and a reaaaaally old netbook, i was thinking Should i buy a smartphone or should i just drop my old netbook and get a good notebook instead Plus i dont have enough money for both! :)

I would have to agree. Don't do it. With heavy insurance you can manage to get it through the mails but the duty will kill you. My question is why you want to do this. There are quality computers, cell phone and media players distributors all over the country and the price is right. Just have her buy it in Vietnam. It will save you a lot of grief.

Hi, You need something to the most and you also need another thing just for nothing. So I suggest you buy a new laptop instead of iPhone5. You're in High school and you need laptop for the most of the works, iPhone5 cannot do things for you. It's a fabulous Smartphone with new features and improved hardware, but it possibly cannot replace things today (maybe in the future!) adjust with what you have in your hand, you could even buy iPhone6 or any other Smartphone once after you finish your High school... I know it's a buzz all around, why do you have to buy something that is used for nothing? And you also own iPad2. People may tell you to buy iPhone5 simply because they'd find iPhone5 interesting, not your priority! Hope that Helps, Cheers :)

So I've been wanting an iphone for a long time now. the phone I have right now is just a basic phone and I dropped it a lot so it doesnt work right anymore. Today my dad asked if I wanted him to buy me a used laptop for school with the money he made at work today. He was like "i know u want a phone but you could use this for school" so I was like "okay.." And its true I could use it for school cuz we do have alot of stuff online we have to do. But e have a family computer we could use at home or my moms laptop which she shares witht he whole family or at school i could always use the library computers. plus next year our school is going "1 to 1" so every student is going to be required to have a certain device that the school chooses. so I could manage without having a laptop. btw im a sophomore in high school. So now my dads giving me the choice between an iphone and the used laptop. the iphone i want is also $200. I think I'm going to get the iphone. but idk what do u guys think?

I have enough money to buy a laptop right now, or I could save up to buy a truck. I'm in college, it's my first year. I'm going to be going into science and business. If you are currently owning a Galaxy S8, there’s no phone currently in market which is worth upgrading from it. S9 is just a minor refresh, Sony XZ2 is inferior in some respects (like display, lack of OIS, lack of 3.5mm jack) & iPhone X is also inferior in some respects. Phones which are yet to be released also won’t offer significant upgrade to your S8, so hold on to it.Gaming laptop is an entirely different class of device & can’t be compared with a smartphone. I have a Windows laptop and an iPhone. Is that combination any good?
Let me answer this from my perspective.I use iPhone 6S along with Macbook Air as my daily drivers. Being a Mac user for long, I tried switching to Windows laptop for a change. I never used a Windows laptop in the past. This was my exact concern.Cross Platform compatibility was my biggest concern. I was so comfortable with apps and continuity feature on Apple Ecosystem. Again a concern for me.Regardless of that, I gave it a try with highest configuration Lenovo E470 and iPhone 6S. I will try to make it understand via the apps I use.Wunderlist: My To-do app for last 1 year and available for iPhone and Windows 10. Not a concern.Slack: We use slack for communication in our small company. Again not an issue.Google Drive: As a startup, we use Google docs and sheets for collaboration and thanks to Google, it works great on any device.Trello: We use Trello for collaboration on our projects. Since, it’s online, not an issue.Web browsing: I am used to Safari on Mac and I missed it. I had to use Chrome on windows but since I am used to Safari, it was really hard to use Chrome. But in a week, I got really comfortable with it. And the extensions on Chrome! Don’t get me started. I tried using Chrome on Mac too but it used too much RAM at that time. So I had to budge.I can go on and on with it but in a nutshell, all our apps are cloud based now and it doesn’t matter which platform you’re on as long as you’re using a powerful machine for your needs.Still, This doesn’t means that there were no trade-offs. I missed Siri on my Mac and Spotlight Search. If I were a iWork apps , that could have been a problem but it went great for me.I had to switch back to Mac after 2 weeks but I loved the Windows platform.
IPhone or laptop? Easy 10 points for best answer!?
iphone will serve a lot of purposes like using net, games , calling and texting and it is cheaper \ laptop on the other hand is better because u can call using skype, play more suphosticated games, send mails, use internet( its wireless range is more than iphone) set up your own wireless network( its possible on iphone if u buy 3gs which i dont recommend since the price will even out with laptop). Also on laptop u can download free songs, videos, movies and much more. not available on iphone. Also iphone can only stream youtube videos wheras laptops can stream almost all videos. IF u lyk a webpage u cannot save it and print it on iphone but u can do it on laptops by connecting it to a wireless printer. So if u ask me ip[hone has restricts a lot of internet features which are very useful and hence i WOULD RECOMMEND LAPTOP OVER IPHONE. ITS WORTH THE WAIT.
