Should I Buy Baby Pads

I'm on my period but I ran out of pads, what do I do?

The first thing that you do is to ask someone around you if they have pads. I there is no one around you, then use toilet paper, fold into the shape of a pad and placed in between your legs.I have this experience before and that time I was having my lessons, that happen when I was in secondary school. Lucky when my period comes, and I found that I do not have pads with me, I still managed to ask my friend for one.Another incident that also happens to me and that was when I was in university. That time I was having a lecture and suddenly I suddenly feel that my down there is wet. Immediately, I went to the toilet and realized that my period came and I had no pads. the next thing I did was to use toilet paper, folded into the shape of a pad and placed it in between my legs. At least the toilet paper is able to absorb the flow. but have to change regularly.Regarding these 2 experiences that I have encountered during secondary school and university, Nowadays, I always have pads in my bag.

Should I buy knee pads for my baby that is learning to crawl?

Babies have learned to crawl from the dawn of the human race. We need to stop pandering to manufacturers who create a need for something that's not necessary. And that's the 'they' you are referring to. First create a need by pointing out that babies might hurt their little knees, (diddums), then the product, and then sell
it via fear advertisisng. Think! Babies are supposed to get scuffed knees and the odd bruise. It's part of the learning process. Who knows? If we make it too comfortable for babies to stay on their knees, maybe they won't bother to try standing up!

Can baby sleep on a changing pad?

u guys got me wrong i wanted to co sleep with my baby and i tried the snuggly nest thing but my is tall and it didnt work for me i tought i would use the changing pad in my bed so that i wont roll over my baby

Im 6 months pregnant, wat baby stuff should i buy?

car seat or travel system, bassinet or cradle if you plan on using one the first few months, crib, onesies, nightgowns, pajamas and clothes, diapers, wipes, diaper cream, bottles and cleaning utensils, or breast pads and breast pump if you nurse. Also milk storage bags and bottles for when the baby is fed by others if you do nurse(wait a month to use any bottles so your baby can get accustomed to breast feeding if you are going to). changing pads, mats, bassinet and crib sheets, laundry soap designed for washing infant clothes, and their stain remover products. Swing, bouncy seat and light weight and a few heavier blankets for colder weather. A few sleep sack blanket sleepers since you can't use regular ones in cribs because they may suffocate. Depending where you live, warmer clothes for the colder weather, or snowsuit or bunting bag to keep him warm outdoors.A changing table is you think you will want one and a pack n play. Hopefully one of your family members will throw you a baby shower so you can stock up on clothes and diapers and a lot of other things that way. Good Luck :)

I used an ink pad to imprint my baby's hand/footprints in the baby book, now I can't get it off her?!?

I got most of it off her feet, but not her hands---it's so noticable and I feel so bad! It's a dye-based, acid-free ink pad. I just wanted to stamp/imprint her hands and feet in the baby book since she's 10 mons old now and I finally got around to it (the hospital at birth didn't do it for me). Now she has these bright pink palms, and I feel so terrible!

I already called Poison Control to see if her putting her hands in her mouth with the dye-based, acid-free ink could be harmful, and the guy said no. Have you ever had this happen to your kid?

I have tried everything to remove it---baby wipes, giving her a bath with baby shampoo on her hands, then tried mineral oil (baby oil), then I even tried washing her hands under the sink with hand/dish soap, nothing would make it come off! How long til it fades? Hours? Days? How many?

And I know I already asked poison control, but it couldn't harm her, could it? Bc she puts her hands in her mouth a lot like all babies.

What are the essentials I need to buy for a newborn baby (first time mommy)?

Don't buy too much 0-3 months stuff. My daughter is only 6 weeks and is in 3-6 already so we had to give away alot of stuff.
Dont buy more than 1 pack of newborn diapers either...get lots of 1 and 2 sizes if your stocking up.
Get lots of onesies, socks, hats and sleepers. Lots of burp clothes, recieving blankets and pacifiers (if your going to use them). Deffinatly get a swing and bouncy and even a floor playmat.
Dont go for high priced clothes because they seriously outgrow them very quick. I have many outfits my kids only wore once (if that) that people paid alot of money for. Dont buy too much white...it will get ruined. Thats all I can think of for now.

Any ideas on how to gift wrap a baby changing table pad?

For baby gifts, I usually wrap whatever it is up in a baby blanket and pin it (instead of tape) closed with diaper pins. The "wrapping" is reusable and it's easier when wrapping odd shapes.
