Should I Call The Cops On My Neighbors Doing Drugs

Calling cops on neighbors for weed?

I live in a apartment complex in Florida. One of my neighbors who lives two doors down is constantly smoking weed. I can smell it all the time, I see him with bloodshot eyes, I can hear him coughing all the time, and have even seen him walk out putting a pipe into his pocket. I have two kids and I dont like them being exposed to this. My question: If I call the cops can something possibly be done or am I wasting my time and theirs? Also should I call 911 or the department number?

What should I do if my neighbors are dealing drugs?

I live across the street from a house that is obviously dealing drugs. There is a high volume of traffic to this house and some times they don't even get out of their car. There are a lot of nice Cadillacs and Lexus with nice rims and such as well as some junky cars and trucks at times. They are up all hours of the night and have the windows of the house blackened out. They don't take care of their yard and it looks a mess. Every once in a while there will be some drama between people there but not that often. The house looks like crap and they had their window broken but only replaced it with cardboard yet they drive a nice car. This place just sketches me out, I get a bad feeling from it, and I'm sure that they are dealing drugs but have no physical evidence. I want to get these guys out of my neighborhood.
Any suggestions?

My neighbor is smoking weed, should I call the cops?

I think you should. I think if you fear retaliation or being victimized, you should make this known to the police when you make the report. I think that kind of behaviour is just selfish.

What do you do when when you suspect your neighbors of selling drugs b/cthey constantly have their customers pull up in front of YOUR house?

So I m pretty sure my neighbors who live directly behind me are selling drugs. There are always strange cars that don t belong to any of the neighbors in my cul de sac parked in front of MY house. The offending neighbors will walk from their house to the front of mine, "talk" to the people in these strange vehicles for about 2 minutes and leave. Today was the last straw. I came home from work to find their "customer" parked in front of and also blocking my drive way. These kids look to be about 18-20 and I rarely see their parents. I believe the offenders are a couple. Sometimes the boyfriend will come outside to "talk" to these people and sometimes he ll make his girlfriend do it. Starting to believe the parents moved out and let them have the house. How should I handle this? I am at my wits end and at the brink of kicking their asses. I don t care what you do in your free time, but when you do your extra curricular sin front of MY house we have a problem.

Can I call the cops on someone selling drugs?

Wow, rat. Grow a pair.

Can i call the cops if some one steals my drugs?

My neighbor stole all of my marijuana and cocaine when i was at work ? I don't know how to solve this problem because attacking my neighbor wont do anything but get the cops on ME

What is the best way to deal with drug addict neighbors?

Well it looks like this question has created an answer for itself. The rude behaviors of the neighbors has not gone unnoticed. It seems that as it was mentioned this was affecting the community not just myself. I foolishly interjected myself into the situation and mildly regretted it as I was afraid of some retaliation against my son and wife. When I confronted one of the dwellers of the apartment, about the drug dealing in the parking lot I witnessed, I told him it had to stop or in the future he would not be dealing with me it would be the cops. Look I am pretty liberal on this sort of thing but this was extremely out of hand. If you going to do your drugs make damn sure you can handle them. If not well... then be prepared for may come. What may come came in the form of the police (not called by me) the very next day. Seems that there was meth, coke, heroin and a stolen gun in the neighbors possession. Then I later found out that the neighbor was offering massages with happy endings on Facebook. Well, neighbors are gone and they will not be back. I regret putting my self in the middle and how it may have affected my family if these neighbors had not gone to jail. I guess I do not have a really good answer for what to do with drug addict neighbors because they did whatever they got to themselves. It seems the self destruction became their demise. I hate to see people get caught up in this system but like I said earlier; If you going to do drugs you better make damn sure you can handle them or they will handle you.

My neighbors keep calling the police on me and falsely accusing me of criminal acts. I am afraid to go outside of my house. What do I do?

I have a neighbor that is fixated on my husband. She seemed a little off, but once she found out about his time in prison she developed a full blown obsession. She wrote the association board for our community a complaint about him slamming doors and watching her when she was outside. This was nonsense but they still had to address it with us. She wrote subsequent letters to the board stating he has a key to her car, and gains entry to turn on her radio...that he lets air out of her tires...that he's getting in her home and releasing ants...and he's poisoning the food in her refrigerator. We'd see police at her door, but they never stopped by to talk to us. One day last fall, my husband was riding his bike. This neighbor pulled her car in front of him and slammed on her brakes, causing him to fall off his bike. Her behavior was now endangering him so we went to the police to file a report. The police were helpful, and knew our neighbor well. Apparently she'd filed lots of police reports about my husband and a few other men from the neighborhood. The police recognized she has mental health issues and never pursued her later complaints. So what can you do? Try to have your cell phone ready to record if you think your neighbor will confront you. Keep a cool head, there's nothing wrong with not engaging in an argument. Don't be afraid to talk to the police to see what your options are if you're being harassed. You don't want to end up on the wrong side of this problem.UPDATE: my local police department reached out to the neighbour's daughter, the daughter called my husband to apologize and let him know she will be intervening in a medically supervised care program for her mother. She made sure he has her contact info should we have any problems. I give her all the credit in the world, she was wonderful and it's great that she wants to be involved in her care! Here's hoping my neighbor gets back on track.

Can you call the cops for underage drinking and drugs?

Of course. If you know where and when illegal activity is happening, you can always notify the police.
