25 and never had a girlfriend...contemplating suicide?
I've been saying this forever... 19 no girlfriend, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and now 25 and closing in on 26... I'm still a virgin and have never actually had a real girlfriend or even asked a woman out.. but that's because there is never any interest in this HIDEOUS FACE http://www.flickr.com/photos/110846694@N07/11253785306/ I also still live at home with my parents who are basically forcing me to work in this **** hole town in the upstate of South Carolina. Right now my social life consists of coming home from work from 11-7am and going to bed and waking up and going right back to work. My degree is in sports management and I've got no hope to find any sort of decent job or anything. When I was 19 I got in trouble for DUI because I drove up on a license check and now I can't even get into the air force. I sometimes think that there is no escape from this town or any hope of any girl ever liking me so I think that killing myself would solve all of these problems. Sure, people would be sad but at least I'd be done with being a failure.

Your life is not meaningless; it just seems that way right now because you're obsessing over all the things that are going wrong in your life. It can happen to the best of us, I've felt like this many times. I've lived with Borderline Personality Disorder, growing up with no family to speak of, and suffered the loss of one of my parents as a teenager. All these things pushed me to the brink. But I somehow managed to get through it all by having just that single ounce of positiveness that things will get better. And you know what? They always do. The girlfriend thing you can worry about later. Right now you need to work on yourself and overcoming what's wrong in your life right now. Fix that and you'll attract more people with your new-found confidence and self-esteem. Trust me, it's going to be ok. =)
Should I committ suicide because I am never gonna get a girlfriend?
I am almost 21 and still single, never had a girlfriend in my entire life. I have already missed out on young love and it is too late, I know that people say it is never too late to have a girlfriend or start dating, but I don't believe that. People who still date and have a boyfriend/girlfriend at 21 or older are people that started dating and having relationships before they were 21. People do not start at age 21, they start earlier, so what is the point of having my first girlfriend in the future if I did not have one before I was 20 or 21? What is the point of having a girlfriend if I did not have one in high school? Even though I have friends, I never learned how to ask a girl out, how to act on a date, and all that stuff that normal people learn as a teenager. Seriously, I just do not see the point of living anymore. I'm gonna include a picture of myself. If you need a girlfriend to validate your existence, then you're going in a terribly wrong direction. This is not a need without which you can't do. Every time this thought occurs to you, then just think of your family and parents. You don't value their love for you? If you can't value someone's love, then how are you going to love anyone? Right now just concentrate on your career and make your family proud. Everything will work at the right time. You will soon have a wonderful partner who will love you. Just have some patience. Work on yourself right now. This life is too precious to give up for something like this.I hope this helps you. Be strong!
Anybody 19 or 20 & older who has never had a boyfriend/girlfriend & still a virgin?
Alright, as you already know, I'm 19, almost 20, never had a girlfriend, not even a non-serious one, not even for dating, all i've done is kiss. I'm still sort of shy but I'm overcoming it, anyway, any males & females who are 19 or 20 & older that have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend & are still virgins please let me know, cause it makes me feel better when I have people I can relate to, cause I feel pathetic & worthless since I haven't had a girlfriend yet, I'm straight. I feel as I'm the one of very few people like this, but some people & my conscience tell me there are more people in my situation than I realize. So am I the one of very few people that has never had a girlfriend yet?, if know you people who have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend & are still virgins let me know please, it will really make me feel better & more confident, it will make me feel not so alone.

Ok so I REALLY need a girlfriend.. I'm 21 years old, I've NEVER had a girlfriend.. never got to kiss/make out with any girls, never felt a boob, never been on a date, never even got to cuddle with a girl or lay down together in bed and hold each other and do stuff or anything! (not really after sex but everything else) I have a friend who's 15 and he's had girlfriends like about 6 maybe? he's kissed girls.. even at age 13 and 14! This is so NOT FAIR! How can some ppl get so lucky and then like me I'm 21 and this? I want to know how it feels to be in a relationship.. to hold someone, to be held, to cuddle up and put your arms around each other and.. what's it like when you kiss and your lips touch?? I've never had the experience and I wish I could go back I wish I could say I had my first kiss before I was 16.. it's so painful I'm so depressed I don't know where to turn.. I need someone special in my life :( I never even got to go somewhere special with a girl and walk around.. hold hands, anything! I wish I could've started as a teenager like pretty much everyone else out there it's not fair I want to know how it feels to be younger and do that stuff! Idk what to do anymore and I feel like crap and such a low-life :'( and I don't even have any FRIENDS that are girls! (that are unrelated to me) Never really have.. when I was in school I never even had any girls over or been to a girls, never really got to hang out with girls I liked.. I was such a loser back then now I wish I could go back and start over! In 7th grade there was a girl I REALLY liked and she knew it.. I think she liked me too but it just never happened and she had a boyfriend at the time :(

I'm my bfs first "real" gf. We started dating 15 months ago- I was 21, he was 23. Have you ever had flings? My bf had had a handful of a few week long relationships, and a few one-night stands. He just couldn't find a girl interested in dating long-term. I don't mind his lack of relationship experience. You just need to find a girl that's patient, and willing to show you the ropes. My bf tends to get frustrated sometimes, but we work together. I agree that many girls are scary, but like guys, we're not all someone to fear! Try posting a strictly platonic ad in craigslist. Say that you are looking to be friends-only, with the potential for more. (And be honest, us ladies can smell a lie a mile away!) Then you can meet lots of different people, and get a feel for what's out there. Hopefully, you'll make lots of girly friends, and develop relationships, without any pressure! Or post in men for women, although all replies would be dates (the pressure!) (Or perhaps answer a few ads!) And don't ever rush anything! Casually date, and let Time take it's course. Best of luck.

That would be one of the lamest reasons to commit suicide. Sorry if I strike a nerve there.Here's the thing, just because something didn't happen yet, doesn't mean it won't happen in the future! That person should look for ways to talk to more girls, understand how dating game works and be positive about the situation. Girlfriends/Boyfriends will come in life. Even if you are single, life is too precious to commit suicide. Cheers!

Obviously it is normal, don't worry if you don't have a girlfriend nor crushes till date then from my side I say bravo! Look nowadays many give up life by committing suicide. Why is that? Just because his girlfriend left him, or a break up, and yes not to forget if you are good in your academics and you have a girlfriend during this phase of time… Assume if your girlfriend leaves you then your academic excellence is bound to drop,Doesn't this mean you are sacrificing your life just because your girlfriend left you? Does it make sense? Look firstly complete your education and have your degree in your hand, so that you don't drop in your life even if you are struck emotionally.You know what is normal? Sacrificing your life for a girl that too when your studies are incomplete, that is normal among teenagers nowadays. Now it is your choice to choose which type of normal you would like to imply in your life.
